About: I’ve been a dog lover since I was a child. I’ve owned two adorable basset hounds, Noel and Ernie. I love dogs, the energy they provide to a family is amazing. I’m currently a stay at home parent. I take two walks a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (if it’s not too hot). I have a fenced in yard and children who love to spend time and play with fur babies. Crating is optional but not required (your preference).

About: Last summer, I had the opportunity to take care of my friend’s dog while they were on vacation. The dog’s name was Max, a playful golden retriever with a lot of energy. Every morning, I would take him for a long walk around the neighborhood park. I made sure to feed him twice a day and always kept his water bowl full. In the afternoons, we would play fetch in the backyard, and in the evenings, he loved sitting next to me while I read a book. Taking care of Max taught me how much responsibility it takes to care for a pet, but it was also a lot of fun and a great bonding experience. I want to become a dog caregiver because I truly love animals, especially dogs. They are loyal, friendly, and bring so much happiness to people’s lives. Spending time with dogs makes me feel relaxed and joyful. I enjoy playing with them, taking them for walks, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I also believe that taking care of dogs is a great way to stay active and learn responsibility. Helping dogs stay healthy and happy would give me a lot of satisfaction. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. Every morning, I start the day by feeding my dog and making sure he has fresh water. I also take him for a walk to give him some exercise and let him go to the bathroom. In the afternoons or evenings, I spend time playing with him, brushing his fur, and sometimes giving him a bath if needed. On weekends, I take him to the park for longer walks or playtime with other dogs. Taking care of my pet has become a natural and enjoyable part of my life, and it helps me stay active and responsible. When I care for pets in my home or my client’s home, I always make sure their basic needs are met first. This includes providing fresh food and water, taking them out for walks, and giving them enough time to play and exercise. I also clean up after them and make sure their sleeping area is comfortable and safe. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. I also spend time giving the pets attention, affection, and monitoring their behavior to make sure they are healthy and happy. Communication with the pet owner is very important, so I always send updates and photos to let them know how their pet is doing.

“We had a challenging time getting together for a meet and greet and it didn't happen prior to my trip. I was a bit apprehensive but Murphy and Mini adapted well to their new sitter, Desiree. While on my trip Desiree text me and asked if my son was home. She had run out to her car and got her phone then realized that she had locked the bottom lock on our door handle. So she couldn't get in. I had to call for a locksmith (after hours) to come and left her on. Desiree mentioned I could file a claim. Rover has coverage up to $250 and the rest would have to be covered by me. When I went to file a claim I was told that this would not be reimbursed but they would give me $100 credit. It was a hassle to get the hotel but I'm even more grateful that my pups were inside when she accidentally locked herself out. She came to meet the locksmith and stayed until he was finished. I am grateful for my dogs being taken care of but I was a bit nervous about their well being. Thank you for reading my review. Lynne, Glendora”

About: I grew up with dogs, had family with dogs, and have foster dogs & cats with Pasadena Humane Society for years. I’d love to help you out with your little fur baby, but I’m really in it for the snuggles. I work from home full-time and live by myself, except on the occasional weekends when the kids are around. My schedule is flexible and I can do walks twice a day and give plenty of scritches in between. I’m experienced with cones, medicine, helping older dogs in and out of the car. I am a very gentle alpha, and have never had any trouble establishing a good relationship with a dog.

“I can’t say enough great things about Shannon. She communicates very well, she’s good to my fur baby and accommodates any special requests we may have. Our fur baby has diabetes so she needs meds and is going blind. She has so much patience with her and it means so much to us when we are away from our dog. Shannon is highly recommended.”

About: It’s time to relax and enjoy your time while you’re away knowing your pets are safe, happy and well taken care off. Have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe and happy You can plan your day, week, etc knowing your fur babies will be in good hands. I will definitely have plenty of time to spend with your pets and baby them, snuggle, a walk at the park and give them so much love… I don’t have a yard, I live in a condo but your pets will be safe from this crazy weather and will get walked several times a day.

About: I have a dog of my own so I understand how important it is to provide consistent care, attention, and love to your pet. This means more than just feeding and walking them but attempting to understand their individual needs and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I aim to create a calm, happy environment whether we're going for a walk, playing, or just relaxing. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I’m committed to giving each dog the same level of care I give my own. I work remotely so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets attention they need throughout the day. As I already have a dog of my own, I’m used to building my day around walks, playtime, and making sure they’re happy and cared for. I’m excited to give other dogs the same attention whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I have a front yard and area inside where pets can relax, play, or nap, and I always make sure they have fresh water, food, and treats (if allowed). I’m available throughout the day to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re happy and cared for just like my own dog.
