“It's so hard to leave our pup for so many days (13). On our way to Brenda's we were feeling so guilty and sad despite knowing we were off to our dream trip to Hawaii. This was our second time using Brenda, so Max had been here before. As we got closer to her home, the dread was setting in fast and hard!! We pulled up feeling so guilty and depressed about having to leave him for so long and not being able to assure him we would be returning. When we arrived at Brenda and our dog realized where he was (it had been a year), He flew out of the car and ran to the front door wagging his tail, whimpering in happiness and sniffing at the door willing someone to open it. It was all we needed to realize that Brenda was the best. Our hearts quickly went from misery to joy. We originally chose Brenda because of all the repeat customers knowing pet owners are smart and care about their animals. Throughout our stay on Maui, Brenda kept us frequently updated with photos and reports and reassuring words. It really made all the difference. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip without feeling guilty or worried about our pup. When we picked up max, he was happy to see us but more so, didn't seem exhausted or stressed. In the past and with other sitters, he would sleep for a few days making us feel he was not fully rested and maybe felt stressed during his stay. With Brenda, he just comes home and acts like he would on any other day. In my mind, a good pet sitter does not just take care of the pet, but takes care of the family that is missing the pet as well. We can't thank Brenda and her family enough for putting our mind at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation.”

About: I have taken care of pets and animals of all kinds sense I was a little girl, it is one of my passions. I can take care and provide walks for dogs of any size and age as well as take them to dog parks. I also am able to take care of cats as well, I have my own loving feline at home. I am able to provide medical care to pets who are ill and need a regular pill. I usually try to have my weekends and nights free in order to take care of if my own pet and make sure that she is fed and taken care of of. Family friends, neighbors, and many others have relied on me to take care of their dogs while they're on vacation or gone for an extended period of time. About: I just love spending time with cats and dogs. I am an active volunteer at a animal shelter. I participated in programs like dog socialization, public training classes and clicker training. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visit up to 3 times a day as long as I get a request in advance. Safety is the first priority for both of us. I always ask the parents for what is allowed and what is not. For dogs, I give them all my attention during walks (consistently of poop/pee, trash eating, etc.,). And after walks, I always wipe their paws and check for any signs of abnormalities. For cat drop-in visits, I perform husbandry including litter box cleaning and refilling, feeding and socializing if needed. Customization is welcomed. I’d love to help you out with your little fur baby, but I’m really in it for the snuggles. I work from home full-time and live by myself, except on the occasional weekends when the kids are around. My schedule is flexible and I can do walks twice a day and give plenty of scritches in between. I’m experienced with cones, medicine, helping older dogs in and out of the car. About: We don't have any pets of our own, but have experience with taking care of cats/dogs for our friends, family, and now Rover clients! We only take one "family" at a time (up to 2 dog/cat siblings). I'm available during the week and on weekends to care for your dogs or cats. My fiancé and I both work from home, and are flexible to take breaks to walk or play with your pets! When boarding your pets, we can offer them plenty of love and attention! For dogs, we usually do at least 2 walks per day (we keep the afternoon ones short if it's too hot). We have a large fenced-in backyard and a few parks in walking distance. If they will be staying 4-8 hours over the 24 hour period, the daily rate of $25 will be charged. If they stay 8+ hours over the 24 hour period, the nightly rate of $30 will be charged. About: What would I do without pets? Growing up I lived in an apartment where I couldn’t have anything bigger than a hamster, so yes, my first two pets was a hamster and a gold fish. Oh how I loved and took care of them! The neighbors with their pet dogs knew about my love for animals, so any time they’d go on walks they’d call me over to join them. I’d always volunteer to pick up the poop 💩. Slowly, the word passed along and I’d have neighbors offering me actual pay to walk their pets. I couldn’t believe it was an actual thing! Eventually I moved out, and adopted 2 dogs of my own (poodle mix, typical LA girl. Haha!). A year later, adopted a third! My daughter is a pet lover too! I was told about Rover and decided to become official! I work from home so boarding is open for the times that your fur pets are needed! Drop ins need to be scheduled, mostly after 6pm during the week. Anytime on weekends. It’s about your pups needs. I take them out for potty breaks every 3-4 hours. Go on a walk in our beautiful community, with a lot of greenery. Or if doing drop in visits, then first off make sure there’s food and water!!!! Clean up their pads, bring your pup out to get some fresh air. Play some tug of war..? 😉

“It's so hard to leave our pup for so many days (13). On our way to Brenda's we were feeling so guilty and sad despite knowing we were off to our dream trip to Hawaii. This was our second time using Brenda, so Max had been here before. As we got closer to her home, the dread was setting in fast and hard!! We pulled up feeling so guilty and depressed about having to leave him for so long and not being able to assure him we would be returning. When we arrived at Brenda and our dog realized where he was (it had been a year), He flew out of the car and ran to the front door wagging his tail, whimpering in happiness and sniffing at the door willing someone to open it. It was all we needed to realize that Brenda was the best. Our hearts quickly went from misery to joy. We originally chose Brenda because of all the repeat customers knowing pet owners are smart and care about their animals. Throughout our stay on Maui, Brenda kept us frequently updated with photos and reports and reassuring words. It really made all the difference. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip without feeling guilty or worried about our pup. When we picked up max, he was happy to see us but more so, didn't seem exhausted or stressed. In the past and with other sitters, he would sleep for a few days making us feel he was not fully rested and maybe felt stressed during his stay. With Brenda, he just comes home and acts like he would on any other day. In my mind, a good pet sitter does not just take care of the pet, but takes care of the family that is missing the pet as well. We can't thank Brenda and her family enough for putting our mind at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation.”
