She asked excellent questions during our "meet and greet," so when it came time for us to leave our animals we knew they were in good hands. She arrived to house sit early afternoon on Friday and left late on Monday to accommodate our travel schedule. Our animals each have particular needs and personality quirks. For instance, we have one high energy dog that requires oral medication, frequent potty breaks, and long walks. Our other dog is content sleeping all day and needs to be convinced to take short walks! Plus, the energetic dog will eat the lazy dog's food if given the opportunity, so we feed them separately. Then, our cat is low maintenance, but still needs food, water, affection, and to have her box cleaned daily. Finally, the dogs wake up at 5am for breakfast (whether we're awake or not). Caring for the three of them is a lot of work and Tanya did a great job attending to their needs! We came home from vacation to happy, heathy pets and a clean house. We could not have asked for a better pet sitter. I highly recommend Tanya and would absolutely employ her services again.”

About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years, mine and others. I believe animals should be loved and respected. I have a toy poodle, but have had schnauzers, pitties, a chihuahua, and cats, as well as fish, a bearded dragon, and a snake named Fluffy. I am a full-time student, so outside of class I can provide care. In addition, weekends are generally just studying time, so you don’t have to worry about too busy a schedule with me. I believe it is important to communicate how your home works - dogs free in the yard, always use leashes, schedules - your pet’s safety and care is my #1 priority.

I have also house sat my parents' dog on numerous occasions. Walking dogs of various sizes is no trouble for me, and I honestly just love animals in general. About: I grew up in Singapore and had the good fortune of being surrounded by family pets, be it either my grandparents' 5 German Shepherds or my other grandparents' English Pointer and German Shepherd. In 2005, I was blessed with Charlie, our Golden Labrador, who we got as a 3-month old puppy from New Zealand and he is my brother from another mother. After High School, I was enlisted in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Platoon Commander under Special Operations Task Force from 2011 to 2013 and got the opportunity to train and work with canine units as well.
