I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

Aric not only refreshed the food and water for my kitty, but he also went above and beyond to clean the litter box everyday, send photos of their play interactions, AND water my collection of plants. I have plants that require humidity and others that are more finicky and don’t take tap water and ALL my plants were in good condition when I got back. Usually my cat loses a little weight while I’m gone (probably due to stress and worry), but when I got back this time I’m convinced he has a few extra pounds on his slim frame! :) If you are looking for someone to help watch your kittens and go above and beyond to help out with other more specific requests, like plant care, book with Aric... trust me!”

Your fur baby will have the comfort of lots of friends nearby if they come to stay with us. I do require dogs to be up to date on all vaccinations, dog & cat friendly and kennel trained if boarding with me. (So during quiet times they have a familiar, safe and secure place for them to go if they're feeling overwhelmed, or if I need to separate anyone for any reason. I also believe it's simply safer for the dog in case of an emergency.) All animals are allowed on the furniture and often I will find myself snuggling on the couch with the babies. My family also has knowledge on animal care and handling so your fur baby will be under the best care no matter who is in the room. When stopping in I will spend 30 or 60 minutes with your pet baby (depending on your choice: there is a up charge for 60 minutes) feeding, watering, playing, pottying and walking. When choosing the 60 minutes I will also do basic obedience and manners training with your dog. I could try with cats but I can't guarantee my results. I also love pet photography so taking photos of your babies will be a free service offered along with their stay or stop ins. This will NOT be guaranteed every time.

About: I’ve had pets for the majority of my life. I have taken care of dogs, both small and big. Additionally, I have owned cats, mice, fish, ferrets and hamsters. I have experience bottle feeding animals, along with provide any oral medications. I was an animal care intern at the CCHS, where I worked closely with mainly dogs. I am also an animal sciences major, which has provided me with a wide variety of experiences with both companion, farm and exotic animals. I am basically free to take care of your pets throughout the entire summer in the area. So I am able to make pet care part of my daily routine. I can easily crate your pets and can make sure they aren’t getting into anything that isn’t good for them. I have also studied animal behavior in class, so I will be able to read your pet’s cues. I also have hours worth of experience leashing and walking dogs.

About: I love love love dogs! Being a dog auntie lets me get my dog fix without the commitment! I have had three cats that had been rehomed at least once prior to coming to live with me, so I am a cat autnie too! But dogs (esp. BIG DOGS) have my heart. To get my dog fix, I often care for my friends' dogs, walking, feeding, and pet sitting them. I have lived with, cared for and feel comfortable with a variety of breeds, small and large. My favorites have been the Great Pyrenees and the Black Labs. 🐕🦺💙🧡 I work from home and could walk doggos before and after work and on my lunch hour. Happy to work from your place if pet sitting. I have a daughter with autism and I have learned how important it is to see and listen to her and try to understand her needs. I think animals are the same way. About: Hello! I've enjoyed working with animals for all of my life. I have lived in the Champaign area at various times over the past 10 years with my father. I have not had experience working on Rover before but I'm looking forward to helping pet owners in the area! I recently moved back from Japan, so I've been searching for temporary employment in the Champaign area before starting graduate school in the fall. I work full time 830-430 so I am mostly available in the late afternoon/at night. My hours in those times are flexible. I am usually completely free during the weekend. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
