“So this was my first time boarding my 20 months old golden retriever at Melody's place for 4 nights. I was very hesitant about the fact that I am not going to see him until I get back from my trip. About: I have many years of caring for my own cats (Jack & Jill growing up, and my foster cat Bucky now) as well as lots of experience dog-walking and home-sitting throughout college. I absolutely love making new friends with your pets and am happy to provide them less time alone or in their kennels I still have full-time work to accommodate (from 9am-3:30pm), but I work remote and am able to be flexible. I am available most evenings and weekends. Unfortunately my apartment makes me unavailable to provide care for pets away from your home. I look forward to caring for your pets in your yards, neighborhoods, or local dog parks however. I don't object to taking pets for a car ride if they enjoy those as well
About: Hi! I am a dog lover and have had one since I was a kiddo. I have had small, medium and large breeds. I do not have any dogs that live with me in Louisville so all my attention and affection will be on your pup! My boyfriend and I have a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepard which I live with part time that I miss so much when I am in Louisville. Which is why I am doing Rover - to spend time with pups when I am not with mine. I work from home so your pup will get tons of time, walks, love and affection. Your pup will snuggle with me at night if they like as well. I have a fully fenced backyard but prefer not to leave dogs outside alone so they will always be supervised. I am very sensitive to dogs needs and will work to ensure that they feel safe and loved while they are with me. No crate training or crate needed - they are free to roam the house. Please reach out with any questions and I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work from home so am typically there almost all day. I run out occasionally on an errand but a normal includes me being with your pup 22/24 hours! I have a fully fenced yard and live in a great neighborhood for walks. I have plenty of space in the house for your pup to explore and play.

About: I have taken care of dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 80 pounds. Family members have relied on me to bathe their furry babies, take them for walks, feed, and watch them over night. I would be honored to do the same for you! In currently working part time with shifts ranging from 5 to 8 hours so i’ll have plenty of time to make your pets feel loved! i am available weekdays and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard, but am a member to a dog park here in town. I have a border collie and two cats that don’t mind other animals.

About: I was raised in a home with pets. My mother was a dog trainer, show dog champion, and breeder so I have life-long pet experience. I have cared for hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, birds, horses, rabbits and turtles. I currently have a male mini-dachshund who sleeps with me and is my best buddy. I’m retired and available most days of the week or weekends. I am available for long-term stays or drop-in visits when you just need someone to provide a potty break or a mid-day walk. I know that when I need a dog sitter, I prefer someone to stay in my home that allows my little buddy to stay in his normal surroundings, so I get it and will do the same for you and yours. However, if you prefer I board your pet, I have a fenced yard and allow pets on furniture, unless you have trained your pet to not be allowed on furniture. My home is clean and non-smoking.

Elizabeth and Phillip were lovely people. They were available for a meet and greet at their home, and responded quickly to my emails. They were very flexible when we needed to move up our drop off time. Jackson enjoyed their spacious backyard, and comfortable home. When we picked Jackson up, he was happy to see us and appeared well taken care of. He was quite tuckered out after his fun adventure.
Carol provided exceptional care for Frankie during his week-long stay! She was an excellent communicator, sending regular photos and updates that gave us peace of mind. Felicia and her family were amazing with my mini doodle for a 3-day boarding. We got multiple updates and pictures each day!
