Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time, typically 2–3 days per week, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule and dedicate quality time and attention to the pets in my care. I plan my day around their needs — including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship — to ensure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Because I have availability throughout the week, I’m able to accommodate a variety of care types and adjust my routine as needed to match each pet’s schedule. Providing attentive, reliable care is something I take seriously, and I make sure pets are never treated as an afterthought but as an important part of my day.

I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for every pet in my care, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in theirs. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding routines, feeding schedules, exercise, and behavioral expectations to ensure consistency and comfort for the pet. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space free of accessible hazards or toxic materials. Pets are welcome on furniture as part of a relaxed and loving environment; however, if they are currently being trained not to use furniture, I will fully respect and continue reinforcing that training while they are in my care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and maintain the pet’s established routine to minimize stress. I focus on attentive supervision, safe handling, and plenty of affection and engagement so pets feel secure and comfortable. Building trust with both pets and their owners is very important to me, and I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and videos for peace of mind throughout the stay.

I also ask about their comfort level with other animals, preferred activities, and any house rules I should reinforce. Emergency contact information and veterinarian details (if any) are also important for peace of mind. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can create a safe, consistent, and comfortable environment that feels familiar and stress-free for your pet
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, and fun tailored to each pet’s needs. I make sure dogs get healthy activity through walks, playtime, and interactive engagement. When appropriate, I’m happy to visit dog parks for socialization, but I always respect each pet’s comfort level — if they prefer solo time or have past trauma, I plan safe one-on-one activities instead. For cats, I focus on maintaining their routine with feeding, litter box care, playtime, and enrichment suited to their personality — whether that’s interactive toys or quiet companionship. I understand that some cats love attention while others prefer space, and I respect those boundaries. I also build in time for relaxation and affection. I love cuddling with pets that enjoy it — it’s honestly one of my favorite parts of the job — and I aim to create a balanced day where they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for.

I have been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and have experience with a wide variety of pets. From raising and training two puppies alongside my sister when I was younger, to caring for horses, cats (both indoor and outdoor), a ferret, a turtle, and even nurturing a wild rabbit from infancy — animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. I’m a true animal lover and take pride in providing attentive, compassionate care. I am comfortable administering medications when needed and understand how important it is to follow routines and instructions closely. When your pets are with me, you can expect regular updates, photos, and videos so you can feel confident they are safe, happy, and well cared for. Destiny treated my 2 dogs like her own - my nervous 12 year old ate every meal, got his medications, and had a great time. Besides just walking them, they got to go to our dog park. Her photo updates were prefect - I knew they were happy so I could enjoy my vacation.
