Quiet & Cozy Home for Lazy Dogs!

Hi, I'm Leah! My partner and I both work from home and we would love to host your pup! Over the past 13 years, we have adopted four senior dogs, but sadly they have all passed on. We have experience providing care for dogs with various conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, blindness, deafness, arthritis, and dementia, and we are able to administer any medications throughout the day.

Leah was wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and had such a calm, welcoming demeanor. Her home was very clean and well cared for, and it was clear how much thought and intention she puts into creating a safe, comfortable environment. You can really see how much she cares for the pets in her care. We would absolutely recommend her!

Leah is wonderful! She is responsive and kept me informed every day on how my dog was doing. She took great care of my pup, gave her walks and lots of love. We will definitely use her again.

Leah was a wonderful sitter for our pup. This was the first time we used a sitter and she made us feel at ease. She sent photos and updates throughout the day. We will be using Leah’s dog sitting services again!

Leah did a fantastic job of taking care of our dog while we were in vacation. She took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about him while we were gone. Leah was responsive, caring, on top of all his medications, provided me with updates and photos, and always willing to answers any questions I had. I will definitely use her services when we travel again!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

We are home full-time so your dog will rarely be left alone. We are available all days of the week, including holidays. I keep my Rover calendar updated often.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

For safety and peace of mind, we accept only one dog at a time. Occasionally, there might be an overlap with another pup's pick-up or drop-off time, so please let me know if your dog is unfriendly with others so that we can ensure an extra safe transition. We live in a small one-story home with only a few outdoor steps. Our backyard is private and completely fenced and we will never leave your dog unattended outside. We have beds and blankets available for your pup to get cozy in, but feel free to bring their own.

A typical day

A typical boarding stay with us includes playing in the backyard, going on walks around Schnitzelburg (weather-permitting), and lounging around on the couch or deck.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Takes only 1 client at a time
Leah can host up to 1 pet per night
We can schedule a meet-and-greet so your pup has a chance to explore our place as we go over the details of their care and routine. Our home is also where we work, so I cannot accept high-energy dogs, and I cannot accept dogs who bark or whine excessively. Thanks for understanding!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
