Fenced yard with a lovable doxie
I have always had animals in my life growing up in a rural area with dogs, cats, ducks, you name it! I love animals of all sorts, but dogs have a special place in my heart. I have one dachshund, Reuben, that I take on daily walks, and play daily fetch games with. Our favorite thing to do is to hang outside in the fenced backyard most evenings enjoying some shade and the breeze. We also take frequent trips to the local dog park for some socializing and pup treats. He recently lost his brother, Carlos, to an autoimmune disorder, so he would love the company of another loving dog ❤️ If I could have all of the dogs in the world I totally would. Let me care for your loved one(s) while you are away, so you can enjoy your time worry free knowing your pup(s) are in good hands!

Felicia and her family were amazing with my mini doodle for a 3-day boarding. We got multiple updates and pictures each day! He has some dietary restrictions and gets medication twice per day and she stated on top of all of it! We will definitely ask her to dogsit our boy again! Schedule
I currently work remote from home, so most mornings we wake up, eat breakfast and go potty, and then they lounge while I work on the computer. Around noon we either go out into the fenced backyard to enjoy the afternoon or go on a few block walk. I pick up my son around 4pm and we head to the backyard for some time in the sun (unless it’s too warm). Most evenings we then do dinner and for a walk around the neighborhood for about a half hour. After my two year old goes to bed we lounge around in the living room.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with an almost 13 year old dachshund who has never met a stranger; dog or person! The back door leads directly into the backyard with no possible exit other than a latched gate.

A typical day
When we have dog company we usually try to make sure they feel at home by keeping the environment calm. Just allowing them to settle and sniff the house. Once they feel more comfortable then we have a ton of toys to play with and walks around the neighborhood and/or backyard time.
