Retired pet lover and gardener!
I have been a lifelong dog and cat owner. My last dog, Sage, was with me for 15 years and she was the best girl. For many years I worked as a companion and a caregiver for the elderly. I have watched my grand dog and cat when their humans go out of town. This is my first time using Rover, but my experiences have positioned me well to provide quality pet care!

My dog Louie had a wonderful stay with Jamie (Lynn). She is patient, kind and calm - just what he needs. When I came to pick him up, he happily greeted me, and then he went back to Lynn and sat by her feet while we chatted, so he had already bonded with her! Louie loved all the attention Lynn gave him, and he loved her big backyard garden. I’m so glad we’ve found a sitter we can relax with.
Jamie, who goes by Lynn, was absolutely the perfect match for my dog. She is patient, kind and loving. She kept him the entire day and he was one happy dog when I picked him up. Lynn wanted to know all about him and any instructions for the day at drop off and she followed them perfectly. She has a fenced yard and they spent a lot of time out there. It is about a 20 minute drive for me and there are plenty of sitters closer, but I will continue to make the drive, because it doesn’t get any better than her.

I am retired and home most of the time. Sometimes I run out for appointments or errands, but prioritizing time spent with your pet will be easy.
