“Did stop in visits for my dog Gracie on my wedding weekend. She had never been boarded so rover seemed like a good idea. Ciara seemed to get along with Gracie when she came by to meet me and she sent at least 1 picture for each trip. She got there early to get Gracie out which was important since she was just coming off a bladder infection. I Will contact Ciara before my next trip and would be happy to have her watch gracie again.”

“I was so happy to be able to book Donai again. Second time’s a charm! I knew my cats were in great hands, and I always loved seeing the Rover reports and pictures while I was enjoying my trip. Thanks for your flexibility and your clear communication!”

“Kaitlyn was amazing! She came over and met our pup beforehand and he got to know her. We did 3 drop in visits and it worked out perfectly for our weekend getaway. Communication was excellent - she updated us with pictures and really made us feel that our pup was safe and secure. Can’t wait to book her for our next getaway! Thank you again!”

“Bayley did a great job with all 3 of our dogs! She came over in the morning for breakfast; as we needed help because our reg dog-sitter's schedule changed. She jumped right in and was very flexible! Def will use Bayley again!!”

“She’s the best. Emily really cares about our pets and treats both our home and animals so well. We can really count on her. Absolute professional and highly recommended!”

About: What started off as a favor for a friend turned into a genuine love for all pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand the guilt and sadness that comes with leaving your fur baby with a stranger, so it is my mission to make sure that the owner as well as the pet feel comfortable enough to put their trust in me. I am a student with a part time job. I have available time for any animal with any need. Evenings or even night walks are perfect. Boundaries are important, not only for the owner before the pet as well. That is always my top priority. As well as treating a pet as my own.
“Eleanor was very communicative, warm, and took great care of my puppy! She was also very attentive to my puppy’s food needs and made sure she had everything she needed. I’m so lucky to have found such a great pet sitter!”

“Jacqueline was amazing! She fit me in on a super short notice when I took an unplanned day trip. She was extremely communicative and kind, and even offered to do extra tasks that I hadn’t asked of her.”

“Lauren was awesome on drop in visits and walks for us. Great communicator who let us know about a plumbing issue that arose while we were gone. We were very happy we booked again with her.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and now have my own dog and 2 cats who I adore and spoil. I love any excuse to be outside and going for walks, and even better with a pup or two! I live in Germantown in my house with a fenced-in yard, I have cared for senior dogs, raised a puppy, and managed multiple chronic illnesses with my cats - all worth it, and I am passionate about taking care of all animals. I have a hybrid work schedule, and work only a couple miles from my house, so I am consistently home and caring for my animals, and am happy to work with pet schedules that may need frequent check-ins! I have my own home, with a fenced in backyard. I walk my dog at least once a day, and am happy to accommodate different energy levels and needs
“Erin did a great job, even picking up last minute with our 4 fur babies during Derby 🐎 week. Both dogs and cats were well taken care of, she even brought packages in for us. We received multiple daily photos along with the written updates and felt every thing was under control. Highly recommend, and hope to be able to use Erin again when the need arises.”

About: Pets are my world. I volunteered at an animal rescue for 8 years before I moved out of town. I had a 14-year-old rescue who was blind and diabetic. I gave him two injections a day and cooked his food every week. Let your pup be my new bestie. I currently do not have a set schedule so my schedule is pretty flexible to keep your babies company when needed even in short notice! I let them smell me each time and come to me when they are comfortable. I have no doubt they will warm up to me fast!
“One of the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. Always very responsive, works well with our cats, and helps clean up if the cats makes a mess. We recommend Sam to anyone who has a pet.”

“Jen checked in on my four month old kitten while I was away for a few days. This was my first time leaving her on her own and Jen kept me constantly reassured! Thankyou so much!!”

“Cody was amazing! He took great care of my cat Sebastian while I was out of town. He even went the extra mile and fixed my automatic litter box when it stopped working. This was my first time using this app and I couldn't have been more happy with my experience!”

“Liz was great watching our puppy!! This is our second time booking her. She took him on walks and sent so many pictures. She’s the only one that gives us true peace of mind when out of town. We will 100% book again, thank you liz!!!”

“Billy is great! Our cat Ted absolutely loves him. He was timely with his visits and was great with communication. We will definitely be booking him again!”

“Maddy did a great job with our dogs! She kept them fed and entertained. The updates were great and I never was concerned with how the dogs were doing. One of my dogs is a trouble maker and she did great with her! Definitely recommend booking her! Reasonably priced, great service!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Audubon Park
Emily was so lovely with us and our animals! She helped me walk through how to use Rover, was excellent on our meet & greet making sure she asked all the questions about the info I hadn’t provided and took great care of our pup and cat! On top of that she was very personable, easy and fun to chat with but still professional all the way! Highly recommend!

Elsie did the most wonderful job watching our cats while we were on vacation! She went above and beyond in taking care of them and keeping them entertained. I loved seeing the pictures she would send after each visit. It was such a comfort to know they were in great hands while we were away! We would absolutely book her again.

Jacqueline did an absolutely stellar job -- I got TONS of pictures of my kitties to help me feel secure while I was on vacation, and she did an amazing job both with the routine feeding/cleaning care as well as pets/play :) great communication, and was even able to be flexible and handle an extra day when my flight got cancelled. Highly recommend for all future pet care needs!
Maggie always treats our fur babies like family, and keeps us updated with daily reports and pictures. This provides peace of mind when we travel. She is a caring sitter and we use her every time we go out of town, knowing she will take care of our girls like a member of the family.
Highly recommend Chris! He was a last-minute lifesaver to my two kittens. After our initial meeting I felt very confident and safe leaving him to check-in on them. And as expected, he did nothing but provide the exact care and regular correspondence I had hoped for. Thanks Chris!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Audubon Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
