About: I've been surrounded by critters since I was a little girl - from fish to foster puppies, reptiles, rats, bunnies, dogs, cats, and everything in between. Basically, you name it, I've hugged it. In the past year, I've started dog sitting regularly for several families in my hometown of Louisville, as well as in South Hadley, where I go to school. I love spending time with animals and look forward to getting to know yours! I'm a student in Richmond for the summer with a flexible schedule - I have plenty of free time all day, every day, and would love to spend my free time with your critters! I know all pets have unique needs, and am always willing to adhere to what you feel is best - whether that means six walks a day, regular litter box cleanings, or three-hour playtimes. My love for animals has been ignited for longer than i can remember and I never get enough of loving all the uniquely named fur babies. Hope to meet yours soon! About: I've owned dogs (and cats!) for 15+ years and have experience with many different types; hunting dogs, small house dogs, massive house dogs, and much in between. I am a responsible caretaker and give the utmost care to each animal I'm asked to watch over. I once adopted a kitten that was handed to me by a stranger, while on a run. I've house sat with a 175 great dane and been the lucky caregiver of a sweet geriatric prince named Chicago, who had more kitty tummy problems than your ex with IBS. My day job is by contract, so my schedule is often flexible. I have an Australian Cattle Dog-mix-tripod-angel baby- named Scarlet and her worker dog genes keep me active, so I am intimately acquainted with the necessity of regular activity and bathroom breaks. I have a fenced in backyard as well as a gated basement to help keep the animals in safe areas. Sam cared for our cat Pookie while my wife and I were on vacation. She shared comprehensive updates every day to show that food, water, and litter were taken care of. Our primary concern while away was that Pookie would be lonely. Sam went above and beyond making sure that Pookie was played with and loved on. The hardest part of going on vacation is having to leave Pookie at home, but Sam’s attentiveness and dedication allowed us to have the peace of mind that Pookie was well cared for while we were away!
