About: Caring for other is my passion. Whether it's people or pets. I love animals and treat them like another member of the family. I grew up with pets and I've cared for them my entire life. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages and stages. I have delivered puppies and taken care of them through their first 8 weeks of life. I have cared for older dogs giving them medication in various ways. I am a typical home body so overnight stays will ensure that your pet is seen, cuddled and cared for extended periods of time throughout the week. Daily I am home by 5:00. In my home pets are apart of the family. My only boundary is that pets are not allowed on the furniture, me and my kids have allergies and need the sheets to be clean!

About: I have been in the pet-sitting scene for 3 years now! Started with friends and family, then branched out from there! I've learned how to care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and my favorite type of pet: rodents (Guinea Pigs are the Best!). Taken care of older pets that need medications and careful care, as well as young and energetic pets that need some more playtime and enrichment! I believe one of the most important skills to have to be a great pet sitter is proper and clear communication with the owners. I communicate how often an owner would want! I would communicate with videos and pictures of your pet's adventures, or communicate any concerns if any arise. I want to make sure that while you're away, you can rest easy knowing your pet is safe and happy! :) I do work part-time as of right now, typically working 15-25 hours a week. I mostly work morning shifts from 10:30-5:00, but usually leave an hour early. If you need me to stay most of the day, please let me know at least a month in advance; I would happily take off work! There are a few things I would like to know about your furry little friend: 1. How often do they need to go out? 2. How much enrichment do they need? 3. Do they take any medication? 4. Do they have any triggers I should be concerned about? 5. Do they have a good understanding of commands? (It's ok if not :3) 6. How long can they be left alone? Please inform me of anything I need to know. I want to make sure your baby/babies are taken care of! I can't wait to meet some new friends! I'm currently working a part-time job typically working 15-25 hours a week. I usually work morning shifts ranging from 10:30-5 or 11:00-5:00, but sometimes get off an hour early depending on the day. Ava was absolutely incredible caring for our two dogs! From the moment I met her, it was clear how responsible, and genuinely loving she is with animals. One of our dogs requires medication, and Ava handled everything flawlessly—she was consistent, careful, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
