I'm currently a full-time senior undergraduate student at UNCSA. I have the most availability on Weekends and Holidays. During the Spring Semester, I will have limited availability during weekdays.

I care for pets by maintaining their usual routine and creating a calm, attentive environment, whether in my home or a client’s home! I make sure all basic needs are consistently met, including feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, cleaning litter boxes or outdoor areas, and ensuring appropriate exercise and playtime. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual personality and comfort level, adjusting my approach to their energy, boundaries, and preferences. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and overall health so I can quickly notice any changes and communicate them to the owner. My goal is always to keep your pets comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away!

It is important for me to know key details about a pet ahead of time so I can provide the best possible care. This includes information about their routine, feeding schedule, medical needs, behavioral quirks, energy level, likes and dislikes, and how they typically interact with people and other animals. Knowing these details in advance allows me to keep pets comfortable, safe, and consistent with their normal routine while they are in my care.
A typical day
For both cats and dogs, I make sure activities are fun, safe, and suited to each pet’s personality and energy level. With cats, I provide interactive play, enrichment activities, and gentle affection or quiet companionship for more reserved cats. With dogs, I include walks, outdoor play, games like fetch or tug, and light training reinforcement to keep them mentally engaged. I also make sure they get plenty of positive attention and calm downtime. Overall, I focus on keeping pets active, stimulated, and comfortable while maintaining their normal routines so they feel happy and secure in my care.

Pet care experience
I have cared for cats and dogs all of my life. I currently care for my two lovely cats, Klaus and Stanly. I have experience with taking care of kittens, adults, and senior kitties. I am experienced with caring for pets that have needed medication administration. For dogs, I am an incredibly physically active individual (ballet dancer!), and am very capable of fulfilling any walking, running, or exercise needs you dog may have! I offer check-ins, dog walking, cat sitting, and dog sitting.
