Availability
My goal is to host one dog a day, maybe 2...(if the first parents agree and they enjoy each others' company). I am only available to house-sit in special circumstances and if/when I have no daily doggies who require my attention. Advanced notice is required.

Safety, trust & environment
I operate as a fully insured limited liability company and provide care in a calm, secure, and attentive home environment. I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each animal receives my full focus, patience, and respect. My yard is fenced and I have no pets or children living here — just quiet space for your dog. I offer a "day camp," not a kennel. Dogs enjoy a fenced front porch and back yard with full furniture privileges. Dog TV and "Calming Music for Dogs" via Alexa are available throughout the stay.

Information Max G. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog know the word "No!"? Does s/he have a special blanket or bed that they love? Can you bring it? What is the daily feeding schedule? Any food limitations? Treats? Is your dog friendly to people? How about other dogs? Any medications? Allergies? Any special needs? Favorite toys? Rawhide chews? Special treats? Any fears or phobias?
A typical day
I'm a homebody. When I’m not at the desk, scouring the internet or editing a book, I’m out in the yard clipping, weeding, watering, and admiring my abundant flora. I have a one-mile daily dog-walking route that I’ve been taking for years. Whatever I do, it's always better with a canine companion.

Pet care experience
I’ve always been known to have a dog by my side. They were my family and they came first. I cared for them through every stage of life - some adopted as puppies and others rescued in old age. I've trained puppies and administered medications. After loving and losing many dogs, I made a thoughtful decision not to adopt again. Now I devote my time, experience, and full-hearted attention to the daily care of other people’s dogs as I've always done for my own.

Reviews

Max was enthusiastic about watching our dog and returned him to us well and exhausted.

max was wonderful! very kind and clearly cares very much about ensuring any pet that stays with him has a good experience. plenty of attention and activity for even the most active pups!

Max took absolutely wonderful care of Lizzy. We did a meet-and-greet before booking to ensure Lizzy would be comfortable with him and the other dog he regularly sits, which was great. He took great care of Lizzy - he loved her all week like she was his own. Would definitely recommend & will be keeping his info for booking in the future! Thanks again, Max!

Max took great care of our dog while we were out of town for the weekend. He seems to genuinely love animals and was very good about understanding and managing the needs of our senior pup. Would definitely recommend!
