About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.

As for my pets.. My first cat was a stray found at 4 weeks that I learned how to teach to groom and care for himself. I also know how to manage ear mites, or any other kind of skin or tick care. Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. I am happy to discuss all kinds of scheduling. I love going above and beyond for my pets. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!

We met Shawna on Tuesday and she was staying at our house with our 2 anxious boys Thursday night. I have a large fenced in yard, I am also very flexible to come and sit anytime you need. I love taking dogs for a walk and I love playing with them at the park especially fetch! That includes feeding them on schedule, giving them fresh water, and making time for walks, play, or snuggles—whatever they need to feel happy and relaxed. I’m Gigi, I work from home full-time and only take a few dogs at a time, so every pup gets lots of attention in a comfortable, home environment🤍 I also help dogs get comfortable using our dog door, so they can go in and out freely and keep their routine. We keep things calm and relaxed taking up to 3 dogs at a time, so every dog has space to feel comfortable. We do a quick meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Our setup works best for small to medium dogs. We have a fully fenced yard with a custom-built dog door, plus added safety features like anti-dig guards and front porch fencing for extra peace of mind. We also have cameras covering the backyard and main dog areas so we can keep a close eye on everyone. We do ask for booking at least a week in advance so we can schedule a quick meet & greet 🤍 I work from home full-time, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, and any special needs, and I take dogs out regularly. We have a fully fenced yard with a dog door, so pups can safely go in and out and enjoy the outdoor space throughout the day. Inside, I keep things clean, cozy, and dog-safe so they can relax and feel at home. There’s also a fully enclosed indoor play area for extra safety if needed. I’m very mindful about keeping floors and spaces clear so dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. If needed, I can also provide a crate for dogs who are used to it or prefer having their own space.
