About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.

As for my pets.. My first cat was a stray found at 4 weeks that I learned how to teach to groom and care for himself. I also know how to manage ear mites, or any other kind of skin or tick care. Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, lizards, and hamsters! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly adore pets of all kinds. Whether they’re energetic, shy, scaly, fluffy, or somewhere in between, I treat every animal like my own best friend. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible morning schedule and the ability to create my own hours. I love spending as much time as possible with the animals, making sure they feel loved, stay active and engaged through play, and are always safe and well cared for. I live in an apartment complex, so I generally take my dog out every few hours so he can get his exercise, use the bathroom, and enjoy the outdoors. I do the same with those I’m sitting for!

About: I have worked professionally with dogs for over 8 years in both a daycare setting and a veterinary clinic. I was a manager at a daycare for over 7 years and in my time there cared for up to 95 dogs a day! I am extremely comfortable and familiar with all sizes, temperaments, breeds as well as behavioral issues. I am also experienced and comfortable working with cats, reptiles, birds and rodents! I am currently a full time student at Buffalo State. I work part time at a veterinary clinic and have plenty of time between work and school to care for your pets!
