Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. I am happy to discuss all kinds of scheduling. I love going above and beyond for my pets. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!

About: Hi there! We’re Gigi & Nate! I work from home full-time, and together we only take a few dogs at a time, so every pup gets lots of attention in a comfortable, home environment🤍 We carry our own private pet care insurance (not just Rover’s standard protection). We also keep a consistent routine so everything feels easy for the dogs. We care for every dog together as a team. My husband Nate works at a local school and gets home early, so one (and often both) of us is home throughout the day. We help dogs get comfortable using our dog door so they can go in and out freely and keep their usual routine. We’ve worked with puppies as well and can help reinforce things like potty training, crate time, and settling into a new environment. We keep things relaxed and typically have up to 3 dogs at a time, so every dog has space to feel comfortable. We do a quick meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Our setup works best for small to medium dogs. We have a fully fenced yard with a custom-built dog door, plus added safety features like anti-dig guards and front porch fencing for extra peace of mind. We also have cameras covering the backyard and main dog areas so we can keep a close eye on everyone. Inside, things are clean, cozy, and dog-safe, with floors and common areas kept clear so dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. There’s also a fully enclosed indoor play area if separation is ever needed. ⸻ 🐾 Your pup will enjoy: – Small group – 24/7 dog door access to fenced backyard (fresh water always available) – Clean, dog-safe spaces (no kitchen access) – Separated during feeding to avoid conflicts – Daily walks or runs in a quiet neighborhood – Photo/video updates – Plenty of playtime and supervision (Healthy snacks like yogurt, berries, or pumpkin if you’re okay with it 😊) ⸻ We’re located right off the highway—Rochester’s last exit before Buffalo/Canada, only about 10 minutes from ROC Airport. I’m always quick to respond, and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We do ask for booking at least a week in advance so we can schedule a quick meet & greet 🤍 I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout the day for walks, playtime, and regular check-ins, and can let dogs out frequently as needed while keeping a consistent routine. We have a fully fenced yard with a dog door, so pups can go in and out easily. Inside is clean, dog-safe, and set up for a calm, well-managed environment.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born really my father always and still has 2 dogs which I help with as well still, I have dog sat numerous times two Boston terriers and two cats for a lovely family I currently have complete open availability that includes weekends as well. “Kolby is an awesome sitter and he takes care of more than dogs! I have a farmstead that includes a horse, a goat, an emu and over 60 chickens and other foul that include babies right now. Kobe did overnights and everybody was well taken care of and happy. One of my dogs is very standoffish with strangers and a little bit intimidating and Kobe handled that like a champ. I'm super pleased with Colby and I will definitely be looking to book with him in the future. His rates are very reasonable.
