“Marty’s stay helped make my vacation away even more relaxing, knowing that the pups were so well taken care of! She was communicative with adorable updates & pictures of the pups enjoying their usual activities. It was a great feeling knowing we were all at ease. Marty will be my first choice sitter going forward & I’ve already recommended her to others as well.”

“Haley was fantastic with our two dogs! We were concerned about leaving them with someone they didn't know, but she really put our minds at ease. Of course, they loved her! We especially loved getting her photo text updates.”

“Jack and Emily took very good care of Riley. They spoiled her and made her comfortable as it took her a day or two to adjust to her new surroundings. Jack was good about sending pictures and updates. He even sent her home with a special treat. Thank you for watching her for us!”

About: Always had pets (cats, dogs, rodents) growing up, one year of horse barn experience and dog training apprenticehood at Summit K9 in Rochester NY! My dog training consisted of... - consistent feedback from two licensed trainers - leash walking skills - reactivity reduction (barking at other dogs, the door, people) - managing doggy daycare including half a day of one on one training and half a day of social groups - creating groups, managing consistent training across multiple employees - assessing the training and social level of any particular dog - crating skills - taking crate sensitive/aggressive dogs in and out of crates - walking people sensitive/stranger aggressive dogs - teaching cue recognition (place, sit, down, yes, no) - caring for boarding dog's needs - walking multiple dogs at once, training dogs to walk together With cats I am comfortable and knowledgeable about... - providing appropriate play - basic training using food incentive and luring - picking up a cat appropriately by supporting the spine and reducing tension on the scruff - responding to stomach issues and puke - reading body language for anxiety and aggression With horses I am familiar and comfortable with all daily care including stable cleaning and fetching skiddish horses from pasture. As for my pets.. My first cat was a stray found at 4 weeks that I learned how to teach to groom and care for himself. I also know how to manage ear mites, or any other kind of skin or tick care. Our dog was a breeder who also has needed a lot of specialized care. I am most experienced with rodents (have owned over 8 rats, 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit)! I've never personally owned a bird or a lizard, but have cared for friends and I always commit to accurate research. If you have any questions or worries regarding my experience and competency I would love to hear from you! I am very available right now, and I intend to make pet care my biggest priority. I am happy to discuss all kinds of scheduling. I love going above and beyond for my pets. Our cats are indoor and outdoor but I am always checking on them and keep a consistent feeding schedule to prevent overeating (they have sensitive stomachs). Our dog is also very needy, as she has some anxiety from her last owner so she needs to always be accompanied while outside and will not do certain things alone. I keep my rats in my room where they get frequent engagement with the whole family, and I enjoy making homemade puzzles and toys for them. Overall, all of our animals live active, healthy lives!
“Sarah took great care of my dog and gave her exercise every day. I liked receiving photos while I was away to see my dog looked happy. I was able to enjoy being away knowing my house and dog were in good hands. I'll definitely re-book with Sarah in the future.”

Taking some time off from work and sitting home doing gets boring really quick and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time then to hangout with some animals 🤗 My house wouldn’t be suitable for housing pets due to having my own and it’s a shared house with my sister and her children as well

About: I have owned Dogs all my life. I believe that immediate recall is the most important tool for all Dog owners. I also believe in challenging Dogs brains with games like find it hide and seek. A tired Dog at the end of each day is a happy Dog. I exercise my Dog every day. I have a Doberman she is the start and end to my Day. With high energy Dogs they need lots of body and mind stimulation to maintain a healthy Dog . I treat each Dog as if they were my own. Well trained well exercised and most importantly immediate recall. If your Dog doesn’t have immediate recall when I meet them. They will the first time I watch them. To me that is the most significant training tool for every Dog owners including myself.
About: Hi there! I’m Gigi, I work from home full-time and only take a few dogs at a time, so every pup gets lots of attention in a comfortable, home environment🤍 We carry our own private pet care insurance (not just Rover’s standard protection). We also keep a consistent routine so everything feels easy for the dogs. I help dogs get comfortable using our dog door so they can go in and out freely and keep their usual routine. I’ve worked with puppies as well and can help reinforce things like potty training, crate time, and settling into a new environment. We keep things relaxed and typically have up to 3 dogs at a time, so every dog has space to feel comfortable. We do a quick meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Our setup works best for small to medium dogs. We have a fully fenced yard with a custom-built dog door, plus added safety features like anti-dig guards and front porch fencing for extra peace of mind. We also have cameras covering the backyard and main dog areas so we can keep a close eye on everyone. Inside, things are clean, cozy, and dog-safe, with floors and common areas kept clear so dogs don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. There’s also a fully enclosed indoor play area if separation is ever needed. My husband Nate and I care for the dogs together, and our two friendly pups help new dogs feel at home quickly :) ⸻ 🐾 Your pup will enjoy: – Small group – 24/7 dog door access to fenced backyard (fresh water always available) – Clean, dog-safe spaces (no kitchen access) – Separated during feeding to avoid conflicts – Daily walks or runs in a quiet neighborhood – Photo/video updates – Plenty of playtime and supervision (Healthy snacks like yogurt, berries, or pumpkin if you’re okay with it 😊) ⸻ We’re located right off the highway—Rochester’s last exit before Buffalo/Canada, only about 10 minutes from ROC Airport. I’m always quick to respond, and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. We do ask for booking at least a week in advance so we can schedule a quick meet & greet 🤍 I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout the day for walks, playtime, and regular check-ins, and can let dogs out frequently as needed while keeping a consistent routine. We have a fully fenced yard with a dog door, so pups can go in and out easily. Inside is clean, dog-safe, and set up for a calm, well-managed environment.
“Luis took great care of my dogs. Kodak is on a strict crate rest and meds. Luis was able to administer his meds and ensure he was ok. Jacky is my hype dog and he loved Luis. He sent pictures and updates through the stay. I had no worries:). If you’re looking for a sitter, Luis is your guy! I will definitely booked him for future needs.”

“Kolby is an awesome sitter and he takes care of more than dogs! I have a farmstead that includes a horse, a goat, an emu and over 60 chickens and other foul that include babies right now. Kobe did overnights and everybody was well taken care of and happy. One of my dogs is very standoffish with strangers and a little bit intimidating and Kobe handled that like a champ. I'm super pleased with Colby and I will definitely be looking to book with him in the future. His rates are very reasonable. If you have animals besides just the normal cats and dogs, Kobe will be able to help you with that. Farmsteaders and homesteaders, this guy is great!”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and we were skeptical however Kayligh was amazing. Our dog and cat loved her and when we got back we couldn’t even tell she had been there. The house was how we left it. We will definitely be booking again. She also stayed an extra hour which was really nice, walked the dog, cuddled and played with our dog and sent us pictures. She also got back to us really quickly when we had questions which made us feel like she cared.”

“Jenna did an amazing job. My babies (pups) were happy and healthy when we returned. She provided updates throughout. I would definitely use Jenna again in the future and would recommend her.”

“Our dog seemed content when we returned but not overly anxious about us being back. Our dog sitter kept Diesel happy and content while we were gone. House was in good shape. Overall pleased with her assistance. Would recommend her to others.”

About: Walked and fed my neighbors dog since I was 13, until I moved out of state. Then got my first dog Maia, who is now 7. She had endometria and has arthritis and I’ve been there for her through sickness and health! Also got my second dog Peanut who is the clumsiest bullmastiff ever! He is 4 now. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. I served in the army where I have dog sat, dropped in for feedings, walked multiple dogs and house sat for multiple friends and colleagues. I’m currently transitioning from active duty and waiting for my Texas nursing license to transfer to a New York. So I’m free to take pups on long walks, spend the day with them or just pop in for feeds! I love playing with dogs and cats. I’m very loving to all animals and will give lots of pets, attention and play with them while caring for them.
