“After a late cancellation by our usual dog sitter for reasons beyond her control my son suggested Rover. In doing a search I found Nina who was close to us and thankfully available. We have a 4 year old German shepherd who is somewhat protective of my wife and I as well as our home; we also have a 1 year old Golden Retriever who is exceptionally shy. During the meet and greet it took all of 2 minutes for our shepherd to walk around the house licking Nina’s hand, Nina is a natural with dogs. It took a little longer for our shy little golden girl to warm up to her but it came through time and positive attention. Nina provided us with regular updates and excellent care for our beloved pups, we couldn’t ask for any more! On our return home the house was immaculate, the dogs were happy and well cared for, Nina was a star and set the bar so high that in the future we’ll be making our vacation plans around Nina’s availability! Rover provided us with a great communication platform and peace of mind for our dog’s care in our absence. Do we recommend Rover: Yes, do we recommend Nina: absolutely!!”

About: I have had dogs and cats, and taken care of other small animals for my family for years. I understand the bond of families with their animals and respect that! I am retired from full time work, but do participate in volunteer activity. A part time role of caring for your pet as needed will best fit my schedule. Or providing in home care for your pet while you travel will work as well. I am happy to come and take care of your pets in your home, where they are comfortable in their own environment. I respect the pet owners preferences on how best to care for their beloved pet.

About: Everyone will say that they love dogs but not only do I love dogs but all animals. I have worked in 4 AZA accredited zoos as well as Walt Disney World. I have worked with dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, donkeys, llamas and many more animals. I am able to communicate well with people about their animals as well as recognize the body language of dogs to understand if they're feeling tired, anxious etc. I also understand the patience that comes with animals, especially dogs that may feel timid around new people, and the need to calmly wait for them to accept you. I am mainly available at night on weekends and weekdays but am available anytime during the day on Saturday and Sundays. I am energetic and can keep up with many dogs by running, playing, walking long distances and more! Pet care fits into my routine very well. I’m available any night on weekends and weekdays and am available all day on Saturdays and Sundays. While caring for pets in a clients home I am respectful of their space and treat it just like I would treat my own home.

About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.

About: My fiancé and I are animal lovers through and through! We have 4 babies of our own. One of which is a service animal! Tahmi is a disabled veteran with years of animal experience from animal control. Marisa has years of experience volunteering and training. We are warm, kind hearted and compassionate people who would love your dogs as our own. We love to be outside every chance we get; meaning we can offer your pup(s) the exercise and play he/she needs! We’re homebody’s too and don’t mind staying in and giving your pup all the cuddles! We offer a variety of services at an affordable price! Our dogs are a high priority and we treat them as such! Which would leave us no problem to do the same for any client of ours and their pups! It’s their (dogs) world, we just live in it! :) We make sure to stay on track with feeding schedules and potty breaks. Exercise is a must-do while your pet is in our care! Safety and comfort are our number one priority and we do everything we can to make sure your pup experiences both during they stay!

About: Growing up, I absolutely loved animals—my family used to joke that I’d own a zoo one day! Whether it was caring for my own pets or helping animals in need, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility and joy in making sure they feel safe and cared for. About: My first formal pet sitting experience was taking out and playing with my uncle’s black lab puppy after school, my senior year of high school. Then, that same year I pet my aunt’s 2 cats in 2016. During the pandemic, for over a year, I stayed at my friend’s house while she was away at work. I would take her precious pup Lala out for walks, give Lala and her cat-sister Sophia their meds with breakfast, and treat them like the princesses they are. I recently left law school, so my availability is completely free until I find a full-time job! I would love to set your mind at ease by visiting your home as often as you’d like! I would care for my clients’ pets the same way I care for my cat-son, Remy. I give him all the attention he desires, and I do the less-than-desireable things (like washing his litterbox monthly, clipping his nails, and brushing his teeth) with a smile because I know it’s what’s best for him.

“Where do I begin??! Rosie & I are so lucky to have found Haley. Rosie is a senior lady and comes with many quirks. Haley has gone above and beyond with understanding Rosie’s needs but also finding quick solutions to anything that may occur. I live in an apt complex and the elevator has had issues multiple times. Rosie cannot do stairs well and Haley was kind enough to take her to her own home with a better living situation for Rosie until they were back in service. Caring for a senior dog isn’t easy and Haley has time and time again known what to do to make every situation the absolute best for Rosie. About: I have done seasonal dog walking jobs for older clients as well as drop-in visits for several of my friends and family’s cats or dogs. I am also proficient in caring for senior cats as I have rescued two from the street. My kitties are quite independent and have an auto kibble feeder and they are fed wet dinner in the evenings to support urinary health. I am always hanging out with them when in my home as it is theirs as well. I am always checking on my pets and giving them affection. I am attentive and quick to respond which makes me very observant and detail oriented. Your pet is always safe under my watch and your instructions will be followed closely. In my own home, clients’ pets have their own room.
