“Hi Everyone my name is Tonka! Woof! I'm 9 and a really fun girl. I love to lounge and eat, yeah, yummy eating anything!!! But don't get me wrong I love to play. I was a little shy at first but snapped out of it fast because Dana and Jeremy took really excellent care if me, belly rubs, letting me on their stuff, and setting up a king size doggie bed for me to watch all the happenings outside the window, Woof!. And they have a great huge awesome fenced in yard to keep me safe but allow me to play! And Jeremy plowed me a path but who needs that, I love to barrel and tunnel right though the snow. Even with my short little legs. Bathroom time and play time combined. It was great. Woof! Oh well they did listen very well to my mom's instructions for feeding. Ho hum, grr, well I like to eat, but they kept me to my feedings and treats allowance. I couldn't pull one over on them. Come on a girl needs to try. Woof! Well that's it for now. About: I've always had a passion for animals since I was very little. I was never able to have them of my own growing up because my dad was highly allergic. Once I graduated high school I moved out and rescued my first dog from a backyard breeder. He was a Pit-bull mix. 4 months later I rescued my golden saint from a hoarding situation which ended up in all of her animals getting taken away. I realized I wanted to help save more animals so I ended up becoming a foster mom. My first foster was a 7 year old Rottweiler named Sabrina. I only had her a short 3 months before I was told she had a stomach tumor that was not curable. I unfortunately made the decision to get her cremated and the last words I said to her was " I promise I will save as many animals like you as I possibly can." I kept that promise to her after 8 years already and plan to for many many more! Fast forward to today, i suddenly lost my soul dog in January 2026 but still have my golden saint and a Catahoula Leopard dog. He was my first foster fail 6 years ago. I wanted to extend my experience even more so now I pet sit/dog walk as well! I am experienced with senior dogs, puppies, aggressive dogs as well as dogs with high anxiety I have taken care of all sorts of animals such as hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, snakes, miniature pigs, and of course cats and dogs! I treat every animal like my own and I guarantee I will become their best friend! My goal is to eventually own a building and name it in Sabrina's memory:) I am available for in home stays in your own home, overnights, drop ins, and dog walks on week days and weekends. About: I have owned animals my entire life from cats, lizards to dogs and horses. I worked at a kennel in my high school years taking care of dogs and assisting the owner in grooming. Going on from that I worked in a dog daycare alongside a fear free trainer whilst training my own dog, Lacey who is now 7, doing agility, obedience and other extensive training. Upon graduating I was given the opportunity to train and work alongside a groomer in her own shop, while I did my time with her we also attended groom expo where I took numerous classes including fear free grooming, control and handling, and creative grooming. Due to back issues I stepped away from the grooming scene and into ridding horses. I wonder my own horse for several years, I took a job opportunity with Letchworth Farms caring for both world class eventing horses as well as our trail horses. My time was ended there after a few years due to me becoming a mother to two beautiful kids and from time to time I have worked alongside a local cat shelter assisting in rescues and fostering and also helping foster and rescue dogs from time to time. I also have experience with caring for senior dogs with special needs. I have a very flexible working schedule to be able to accommodate your needs and your dogs at any time! I was a little shy at first but snapped out of it fast because Dana and Jeremy took really excellent care if me, belly rubs, letting me on their stuff, and setting up a king size doggie bed for me to watch all the happenings outside the window, Woof!. And they have a great huge awesome fenced in yard to keep me safe but allow me to play! And Jeremy plowed me a path but who needs that, I love to barrel and tunnel right though the snow. Even with my short little legs. Bathroom time and play time combined. It was great. Woof! Oh well they did listen very well to my mom's instructions for feeding. Ho hum, grr, well I like to eat, but they kept me to my feedings and treats allowance. I couldn't pull one over on them. Come on a girl needs to try. Woof! Well that's it for now. About: UPDATE: looking for new clients in our neighborhood in Holland! About me: I grew up always with dogs and cats. I currently have cats and a german shepherd dog! While in high school I attended a small animal science program for 2 years and we had our own grooming business running for dogs. In the program I worked with the smallest dogs to the largest canines; walked them, bathed them and groomed them. I love walking dogs and will make sure your dog gets a great walk.
