About: I have a combined 20 years experience as a former veterinary technician in emergency and critical care, as well as zookeeper experience of all taxa (big cats, primates, reptiles, birds, etc.) I have my own pets I care for, and educate my students how to care for them as well. I have dogs, reptiles, invertebrates, and a bird. I am a teacher, so I have summer and holiday flexibility, as well as some weekend flexibility. Most early morning and evening routine care fits easily into my schedule, as does overnights on weekends and during breaks. I care for clients' homes as if they were my own. I ensure if security systems are in requested to have them in use, and to report any suspicious activity. I will also grab any mail, newspapers, and turn on/off any lights as needed to make sure the home is lit and safe as needed and per the client request.
