About: With my own animals I’ve had a special needs dog that required medication. I’ve had my own senior animals that required medication. I can do pets like rabbits, rats, birds, ect. (No snakes) I recently graduated high school and getting into the work field so I’ll have all the time to be able to take care of your baby. I will always make sure they are okay and comfortable with anything. I’ll make sure collars and leashes are on properly so they don’t get hurt.
About: I’ve had all types of pets since I was a baby. I’ve had guinea pigs, birds, hamsters, cats, and dogs. I am an animal lover through and through. I have a pretty open schedule so I will always be able to make the time. If not then I will make sure to have that conversation with whoever I’m caring for. Whatever you ask I will do. About: Hi there! I have lots of experience caring for pets ranging from my own pets to shadowing at veterinary clinics in the DFW area. I am happy to help with walks and check-ins, and I am comfortable working with any breed or species. I have cared for a wide variety of dogs, elderly and young, and can accommodate special needs. For walks I work with owners to establish the safest route according to their pups needs in! For check-ins I can do feedings, administer meds, and play with your pup to make sure they’re happy while you’re away. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday. I can fit in walks and check-ins before and after work on those days, but Friday-Sunday I generally have an open availability for any help you might need. Each animal is different and requires their own unique approach. I try to respect this when establishing a relationship with both owner and pet. For walks and check-ins, I will work with you to make sure I can properly care for your animal! If you are considering boarding please be aware I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own and we will need to heavily discuss if everyone can blend together safely!
“Jo did a great job with my very demanding wobbly cat. She frequently has accidents peeing over the side of the litter box while attempting to hold herself steady. She will not use the litter box at all unless it has just been scooped. I have trouble myself getting rid of the smells from these accidents, but I came home to a very clean litter box and no accident stains or smells. She was also immediately friendly and not skiddish like she has been when left in the past.”
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve taken care of friend’s animals more recently. I’m able to fit any schedule and am very respectful of the animals and the space they live in. Currently working part time, so I’m able to come out during the day and keep your parts company. I’m able to play with all animals big or small! About: I have taken care of all sizes of animals ever since I was 14 years old, from horses to rabbits. Currently I have four cats, two dogs, one horse, one donkey, and four goats. Some of them have three legs and some can’t see but I have cared for them all with as much love as I can. Difficult animals are something I have dealt with as well, I understand that animals have their own boundaries that need to be respected. Right now I am a nursing student at UTA, my classes start on January 13, and when that happens, I will not be able to work on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. I might be able to make it work if the scheduled time is much earlier or much later in the day. I have a fenced yard, and there are several gates in my house so I can separate dogs from each other if needed. I also have an area the cats can stay in if the certain pet does not like cats. I live on a 7 acre plot of land, which will give any dog enough run time to have fun and also sleep really hard by the end of the day
About: From puppies to seniors, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, at least three dogs in my house my whole life. I learned to be responsible and became infatuated with pet-behaviors and learning the way every pet wants to be interacted with. I’ve also grown to love rescues, and have two of my own. While I’m not lucky enough to be a full-time animal enthusiast as my career, my favorite “hobby” is anything to do with dogs, the best way to take care of them, and make sure they enjoy their life. I have two pets of my own, one with special needs. I quite literally view them both as my own children, and do everything I can to know they feel and get treated that way. My pup gets her walks, play time, down time and routine care every day (along with all the snuggles), and as long as he gets attention (and maybe some chicken tubes) my kitty is happy. Even with working full time, I make sure they are my number one my priority. I quite literally view my own pets as my own children, and I know they will always be that way. My boyfriend finds it a bit much, but before her walks, my dog gets her puppy shoes on and off we go, to make sure she doesn’t get her burnt feet. I tend to be a bit of a worry-wart about my pets, I monitor their behavior and actions constantly. As soon as something may seem off with one of them, I’m already making calls and doing research as to what it may be. Thankfully, even with one pet of mine high risk for liver and kidney problems, they have been happy, healthy, and active pets (even with an apartment) since I’ve had them.
