We only had 12 hours to find a sitter after a sudden change of plans, and Kelly was so accommodating. Olive spent two nights with Kelly and her family, and it was clear at pick up that she had a great time. She would have stayed longer if we let her! Kelly was able to give Olive her medicine twice a day and kept us updated with pictures and texts. Her lab, Charlie, was such a gentleman and helped Olive feel comfortable from the get-go. “1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. About: Over 6 years of experience caring for dogs, big, small etc. All services are available. CPR certified and have knowledge when it comes to dog medication. Have experience with puppy and training as well. I am a stay at home mom who is also currently pursing my bachelors degree in criminal justice. Pet care helps with my daily exercise when it comes to walking the dogs. I have a fenced in backyard, there is enough space for them and a park near by to be walked multiple times a day if needed. I do not cage any dogs and allow the dogs on my furniture. About: I work from home full time and have two cats and dog. I grew up in a home with pets and would love the opportunity to meet some new fur babies. I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I have set my parameters for 15 minute distance from me so that I would be able to make those drop in visits with no problem. My husband Jonathan and I have 3 sweet, well supervised, and well behaved children, and can provide a wonderful boarding or daycare environment for pets that have anxiety with child exposure. There is always someone home when there is a guest pet present, and they are given access to the same amenities that we enjoy- comfy furniture, plenty of safe places to play with close supervision, toys for enrichment, and a clean place to do their "business". Our own dogs have been very well socialized and enjoy the opportunity to interact and play with new friends of all sizes and species. They are excellent with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and exotic pets. I know that routine is very important for some pets, and that disruption of typical routine can cause anxiety. Because they're is always someone home, we can follow care instructions closely to try to emulate the routine that your pet is familiar with. Our home is just shy of 2,000 square feet on 3 acres and has a large fenced back yard for potty and play. Pets will NOT be left outside unsupervised at any time. We do have a covered patio in the back yard as well for shade, and will provide cool, fresh, clean water outdoors during supervised playtime if outdoor play is desired. Indoors, guest pets will have access to our kitchen, dining, and living space. All flooring is hard for easy mess cleanup, and for easy puppy potty training. Off limits sections of the house (ie: storage room, bedrooms when unoccupied) will remain closed or gated. Pets will sleep in our room with us when directly supervised. Our indoor environment is air conditioned and remainds approximately 70-74 degrees year round. Our home is in a wonderful edge of town peice of property that is easy to access from the main highway and far enough from neighbors to be very peaceful. There is a subdivision with nice sidewalks with light traffic residential streets for plenty of leashed walking less than half a mile down the road. There is also a large park nearby. Plenty of exercise can be provided for pets that need it, and I love being outdoors myself. I am currently a stay at home dog and kid mom so I have plenty scheduling flexibility to accommodate things such as medications and potty training I have a fenced yard for free running and play and all of my dogs are crate trained for their safety in case it is needed either with client dogs or for another reason

About: I have taken care of kittens to senior cats. I also own 3 cats. Drop in visits are offered for your fur baby in your home. I used to breed eskimo spitz dogs for many years. I am retired so my schedule is open seven days per week except when I travel. I will run errands mid-day and provide visits before and after that time. In the clients home, I will follow instructions after visiting in advance of the sitting date with you to understand your cat’s routine. Drop in visits only.

My best friend is a vet so she gives me all the advice and tips on dogs and cats! I can cater to anything you prefer, if you have very high maintenance or chill pets. My dog gets along with other dogs but we can seperate her to a different part of the house with a dog gate if needed! Drop by care is fine or if you’re going on a trip, we would love to have your pup stay with us. They are in greaf hands, lots of backyard play and will be very spoiled! Can’t wait to meet your little guys!! Im home a lot so I have much time to care for the animals here! We have a big back yard and I love going outside with them for exercise! Whatever your care preferences are, we try to accommodate to that! Just communicate with me what your expectations are, we want your dog to have consistency.

“My husband and I had such an amazing experience with Kelly! She took excellent care of shy pup Olive and was also incredibly flexible. We only had 12 hours to find a sitter after a sudden change of plans, and Kelly was so accommodating. Olive spent two nights with Kelly and her family, and it was clear at pick up that she had a great time. She would have stayed longer if we let her! Kelly was able to give Olive her medicine twice a day and kept us updated with pictures and texts. Her lab, Charlie, was such a gentleman and helped Olive feel comfortable from the get-go. “1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing.
