We only had 12 hours to find a sitter after a sudden change of plans, and Kelly was so accommodating. Olive spent two nights with Kelly and her family, and it was clear at pick up that she had a great time. She would have stayed longer if we let her! Kelly was able to give Olive her medicine twice a day and kept us updated with pictures and texts. Her lab, Charlie, was such a gentleman and helped Olive feel comfortable from the get-go. “1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. About: I have been a passionate pet owner for the last 20 years, as well as a veterinary assistant, foster/rescue advocate, and trainer. I am a licensed human nurse currently working as a stay at home mom, but absolutely love working with animals of all kinds, and wish to continue to help pets and their families in any way that I can. Because of my unique experiences, our home is a wonderful place for me to continue to be involved in pet care and training, and for pet parents to seek skilled quality care. I have been trained in various animal medical skills such as pill administration, injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, topical skin medication/eye medication administration and basic first aid, so caring for animals with ongoing medical needs, mobility restrictions, or medical conditions related to advanced age are not outside of my skill level. My husband Jonathan and I have 3 sweet, well supervised, and well behaved children, and can provide a wonderful boarding or daycare environment for pets that have anxiety with child exposure. There is always someone home when there is a guest pet present, and they are given access to the same amenities that we enjoy- comfy furniture, plenty of safe places to play with close supervision, toys for enrichment, and a clean place to do their "business". Our own dogs have been very well socialized and enjoy the opportunity to interact and play with new friends of all sizes and species. They are excellent with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and exotic pets. I know that routine is very important for some pets, and that disruption of typical routine can cause anxiety. Because they're is always someone home, we can follow care instructions closely to try to emulate the routine that your pet is familiar with. Our home is just shy of 2,000 square feet on 3 acres and has a large fenced back yard for potty and play. Pets will NOT be left outside unsupervised at any time. We do have a covered patio in the back yard as well for shade, and will provide cool, fresh, clean water outdoors during supervised playtime if outdoor play is desired. Indoors, guest pets will have access to our kitchen, dining, and living space. All flooring is hard for easy mess cleanup, and for easy puppy potty training. Off limits sections of the house (ie: storage room, bedrooms when unoccupied) will remain closed or gated. Pets will sleep in our room with us when directly supervised. Our indoor environment is air conditioned and remainds approximately 70-74 degrees year round. Our home is in a wonderful edge of town peice of property that is easy to access from the main highway and far enough from neighbors to be very peaceful. There is a subdivision with nice sidewalks with light traffic residential streets for plenty of leashed walking less than half a mile down the road. There is also a large park nearby. Plenty of exercise can be provided for pets that need it, and I love being outdoors myself. I am currently a stay at home dog and kid mom so I have plenty scheduling flexibility to accommodate things such as medications and potty training I have a fenced yard for free running and play and all of my dogs are crate trained for their safety in case it is needed either with client dogs or for another reason

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little kid and recently had to say goodbye to my last dog. I adore dogs but as empty nesters who travel, I’m not in a place to get another one full time now. So I decided to dog sit instead so that way I get to love on your babies as my own. I have a huge fenced in backyard with all grass and lots of room to roam. I have always let my dogs sleep with me and also cuddle on the couch. Your dog(s) will be in good hands and I look forward to taking care of them while you are away from home. I am currently retired and run a business that is only busy at the holidays. I’m pretty much home every day otherwise and if I’m working, I’m doing it from home. I have one of the biggest backyards in our neighborhood and it is all nice green grass. I don’t have a pool so it’s a great place to roam and play fetch. I also have a dog park in our neighborhood if your dog needs more activity & likes company. My yard is fenced in, kept locked at all times and has cameras so your dog is definitely secured in with us.

About: I’ve grown up with pets of my own and helped my mother with her dog business. By taking care of them, playing with them and bathing them. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup. I’m available any day of the week, I just need about 1 day advance notice. I have a massive fenced backyard. About 1/2 acre for your dog to run and play. I also have kids that adore dogs and would make them feel very loved! I have the room to crate them overnight.
About: I have raised dogs all of my life and I am a huge animal lover. Each animal I have had have always been rescues. I strongly believe in TLC for all pets. When you're away from home I will give all the love and pets to your furry friend. I love to walk dogs as it benefits both parties. Play time is incredibly important too. Without play time a pet can become restless and bored. I thoroughly enjoy playing fetch with dogs. I am promptly on time with potty breaks, feeding time, and any walking needs. Any request great or small will be done. I currently have a 11 year old male cat I raised from a kitten so I know cat's very well also. I have a flexible schedule to accommodate any and all pet needs a client may have. I do well with a detailed potty and feeding schedule. I send updates and pictures accordingly with feeding times and follow written instructions very well. I make sure family pets are kept to a standard routine so they feel right at home.
About: I'm a huge animal lover, and have had everything from cats and dogs to ferrets and fish! I've always watched over other people's animals for as long as I can remember and love every moment of it! From cuddling with a lazy fur baby to going on long runs to let out some energy, I've always been able to match any pets energy! I am a full time college student currently studying at NCTC! I'm usually free for the most part if not in class or the weekends where I get most of my studying and homework out of the way! I'm always willing to abide by any house rules you may have or areas that are off limits or need extra eyes on. I'm more than happy to crate dogs and make sure cats try not to scratch up furniture!
About: I really treat your child (yes pets are children) like my own. I want them to feel at home and happy and safe while you’re away! I work from home, so I can work anywhere! I am in FL for a few weeks and do not have my cat, so I can house sit easily :) My schedule is very flexible for those with needy pets! Whether they need a walk or extra food and snuggle time, I am available! I went the let’s to be as comfortable and as happy as possible! If the dog or cat likes to sleep in my bed, they are welcome! They were walked, played with, fed on-schedule and the updates were wonderful, including a great video of one of our dogs playing in his nice backyard. He has been a very good communicator. “1st-time using a service like "Rover." I will NEVER take our dog to a Boarding Facility IF I don't have to. Our dog is accustomed to a tranquil environment and was never kenneled. Imagine being in a loud facility, with barking dogs and caged for days (walking breaks provided, but, no freedom to roam.) I found Rover after boarding our dog 3 times. My 1st experience and I'm thrilled I did. You can filter to sitters who take 1 dog at a time, no children, etc. Ok about Amy: What a GEM! Communicative, Clean, genuinely Kind, and Professional. My husband and I live close to Amy (another plus,) but even if we moved 1 hour away we would still rebook with Amy as long as she's available. Upon pick-up our dog ran to us, but as we recapped with Amy and her husband our dog kept going to them too. I told her I was unsure if he would be happy to see us because he is living his best life at "Aunt Amy's" lol. I'm a "non-worrier," however, I didn't realize how much Amy's' consistent checked-in with photos and a couple of videos helped put my mind at ease, my soul at peace, and allowed me to fully enjoy my honeymoon without thinking too much about our dogs' wellbeing. About: I grew up on a farm helping with animals often. I've always owned dogs and cats. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I have a dog door (it can be secured) and automatic waterer for your pet's convenience. I installed a metal gate to keep my runners from escaping out the front door. I am trained to give shots for the elderly family members. The days I work outside the house, I can meet you at 6:15 pm or later. I feed the dogs twice daily, but biscuits often. I am a homebody and I'm usually home all weekend. Your fur babies will be well loved. I have a 6-foot privacy fence, gate for the front door, dog door and an automatic water feeder. They are like family and can explore all they want. Please let me know in advance if a pet likes to lift his leg inside the house. I can provide doggy diapers.
