About: I have worked at the pet shop in town for almost 4 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition and am here to help with that as well. I have always loved dogs & animals. I have 3 dogs now and use to have cats growing up. I have always helped family/ friends with their pets. My cousins would call me “ the dog whisperer” I am very patient and understanding- a dog sometimes is anxious just like us humans. I think taking time out of the day and using interactive toys is so important for stimulation and keeping them busy. I usually am off on sunday & wednesday. I typically work in the morning until 3pm. Can do walks/feed them/ check in’s on the dogs after work and most likely before work. I have lots of grass outside & a gate inside.I would play with them outside, make sure they have a harness and a longer line ( so they are safe)& take them for walks. I can brush the dogs as well. I do prefer to stop at the clients house. I have 2 dogs at my house - it can be a lot. In the clients house I would first make sure the dog goes outside to the bathroom upon arrival. I would take them for a walk, play with the dogs outside( depending on the gate situation) Make sure they have lots of water, food & i can brush them.

“My cats are indoor-outdoor cats and can be shy with strangers, so they can be challenging for a new sitter, but Lauren did a fine job of keeping track of them and making sure they were safe and fed. She even managed to snatch a few photos to send to their worried mom! 🙂”

I have experience with dogs large & small, know how to handle a leash puller, and don’t mind doggy kisses at all. I am currently job hunting, but have open availability throughout the week. Weekends work best, but I am flexible especially if you schedule ahead of time. Once I get a consistent job my hours will likely change. I have taken care of young energetic dogs and older ones too. About: Growing up and into adulthood I have owned a multitude of pets including guinea pigs, turtles, hamsters, fish, frogs, cats, and dogs. I love all animals and understand they are family.
