“Madelyn was an absolutely wonderful sitter for my cat, Yuki! 🐾 She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated throughout my trip, which gave me total peace of mind. I came home to a very happy and well-cared-for kitty, and the house was just as I left it. I’d highly recommend Madelyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

“Christian is the BEST dog caretaker we’ve ever had! She also stayed at our house and took great care of the house as well. She took our dog for a walk 3 x a day, gave her lots of love & cuddles & kept the house clean and did all the trash & washed our dogs bowls, vacuumed & stripped the bed. She is so communicative, professional, responsible and kind! We highly recommend her.”

“Kiri was wonderful with our senior pup Lolita! She took time to bond with her, carefully noted our caregiving tips to tend to our gal, took her on many walks, and was super communicative with us (sending us regular picture updates). Most important, it was obvious that she really cared about Lolita’s wellbeing and experience. We look forward hiring her again and to Kiri and Lolita becoming good friends. ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats from a young age. I have worked at a veterinary office and feel comfortable giving medications and taking care of animals with illness and medical needs. I am currently a UVA grad student with availability most week days and weekend. I am happy to help with walking, drop-ins and feeding and house sitting. Please reach out to ask for specific questions about my schedule. I prefer to care for your pet in your home as I live in a one bedroom apartment. I may be able to take small dogs and cats in my home for short periods.

“Jen was amazing! She took such good care of our dogs in our house and spoiled them so much that I think they were disappointed when we returned! She baked treats for the dogs, as well as doing the standard tasks of feeding and walking them. She took great care of our two guinea pigs, as well, making sure they got their daily feedings and cage cleaning. She left the house in such good clean condition, it was like she hadn't even stayed there. I was so impressed with all her texts with funny pictures and cute updates on all the activities. I would highly recommend her for pet sitting.”

“Madison and Ryan were amazing with our furbaby! We did a quick trip, but our pup was left in great hands. They were very attentive in making sure Nestle was comfortable and that my separation anxiety was at ease :) I received several adorable photos! We will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Was nothing short of amazing. From the meet and greet to entire time Lettie was house sitting, she was attentive and thorough. Gave updates along the way and made the entire experience so stress free. Best experience with Rover yet!”

Amanda was great with our girls — two elderly Labrador retrievers. She house sat and took care of our dogs for three weeks and sent regular photos and updates. The girls were happy to stay home in their routine with regular walks and cuddles in front of the TV. The girls were happy and healthy on our return. I would definitely use Amanda again and recommend her to others.

Natasha was lovely to work with and took excellent care of our two older labs. She stayed with them at our house while we were away and both the dogs and the house were well cared for. She spent lots of time with them during the day and kept them in their regular routine. She was good at communicating throughout our time away. We would love to have her help us again!

Siobhan took great care of our dog Oliver and our house while we were away on vacation. She sent updates and was very responsive. Our dog seemed very happy when we came home, and we were able to relax knowing he was in good hands while we are away. We highly recommend Siobhan and hope to be able to book her again in the future!

Lettie took excellent care of my cat during her sit! She was very responsive ahead of the stay and then sent me great photos and updates while I was away. I felt that she really took her time to get to know my shy cat and made me feel more comfortable being away.

Madison and Ryan are so good with our dog. We love having them watch Ronnie and trust that he will be well cared for. They give good updates, lots of pictures, and go out of their way to make sure he feels loved. They were extra patient and determined to get our stubborn dog out for a walk! Would absolutely recommend
