About: For as long as I can remember I have been taking care of animals. From guinea pigs to great danes, I believe that pets bring happiness like nothing else. I have cared for many different breeds, waggy golden retrievers, adventurous beagles and even excitable great danes. I believe that our pups truly are part of the family. Since leaving uni for the summer I have lots of free time. I used to be a bar supervisor but I have realised that working in the nightlife industry made me depressed and lonely. Caring for dogs allows me to work during the day, explore the outdoors, spending time with lovable pups, which leaves me feeling happy and fulfilled. I am familiar with the area as I have lived here for 22 years and know of many good walking spots, however, I am also able to simply provide companionship in a setting where your pup is comfortable, whether that is at home or in a familiar walking spot for them.

“Tabitha is a real animal lover and just lovely with our three dogs - two rather difficult terriers and one very elderly boy. They are not the easiest of dog (!) but she is very kind, calm, gentle and attentive to their needs. She is familiar with positive reinforcement and reward based training methods. The dogs love her and look forward to her visits/their walks. After walks she settles them back in at home, feeds them, sorts out medication required by one of our dogs and plays with them. She is trustworthy, hard working and very reliable. I have no hesitation in recommending her.”

About: I have raised a puppy previously, training them both at home and on walks. I also own to cats who I love more than anything. One of them was quite challenging when I got her but has developed into the most friendly and social girl. I was not informed that she was a feral cat when I adopted her, but in the space of a few months I managed to train her to be calm and trusting around other pets and people, to use the litter tray and to not resort to hissing or scratching when she needs space. I’m very open to looking after both dogs and cats, as I have experience with both and love spending time with pets! I am self employed & do freelance work remotely in Liverpool, so my schedule is very flexible. I am available 7 days a week! I spend a lot of time with my own pets, but as they are in my family home with multiple caregivers, it means I always have time to look after the pets of friends or family and even people I don’t know when needed :) I love to get to know pets and their preferences, for example, one of my cats wants to constantly be carried around like a newborn, but the other likes to have more space and will initiate when she wants to be petted or to receive attention. I love going on long walks and exploring new areas, so I would be very excited to make sure your pets get plenty of attention and time to play and walk outside. I have experience walking energetic dogs such as a Belgian Malinois, small dogs like Chihuahuas, and even dogs who may get a little bit more excited when given attention like Bully mixes. I love giving pets treats when they’re being angels as always, but I’m very aware of the limit when it comes to overfeeding them.

“Ellie dropped in to look after our cat Leaf and did an amazing job. Before the first visit she popped in to meet Leaf who took to her instantly. Leaf was well fed, played with, and had her litter cleaned up. We received regular updates with photos of the two playing and having a great time. Ellie dropped the keys back in the letterbox after the final day, and always made sure to leave the place tidy and secured. About: I genuinely love dogs so much and I believe they are gods best creation. They are so loving, caring and bring so much joy to our lives, and they deserve to be given the same happiness they bring to us humans. The only reason I have chosen this job is because it is a form of therapy for me to be around pets and I miss my dog back home so much, so by doing this, I can channel my love towards pets by taking care of them, when others need it! I had a dog of my own back home, and I have been taking care of him for 5 years now. I have also walked my friends and neighbours dogs over these years. My dog is the aggressive type, so dont worry if yours is too, because it wont scare or worry me even a bit, and will feel more like home if so😅 I also know how to teach them tricks over time, control them in tricky situations, playing different stimulating games to keep them active. My own dogs also had a few physical activity issues, so I have also been trained by a certified vet with different techniques to keep the dogs active. Having been around dogs for so many years, I have grown to understand their behaviour very well and I am able to understand how and what to do in situations where the dog is anxious or stressed. Even if it means just sitting with them and massaging their head till they feel better, giving them a treat or even taking a walk for some fresh air. I would give them the appropriate care and attention they require. I have learnt from my experience with conversing with vets that dogs feel relaxed with calming music and a subtle scent in the room which is something I could implement at times when your dog may feel uncomfortable or stressed. I really appreciate you trusting me with your dog and they will be in very safe and loving hands, so be rest assured, your dog and I are going to have a great time and might just become besties :) I would be available ideally for these timings on a weekly basis (but could change some times, depending on the date) : Monday : 5pm - 8pm Tuesday : 2pm - 8pm Wednesday : 12pm - 8pm Thursday : 3pm - 8pm Friday : 12pm - 8pm Saturday : 12pm - 6pm Sunday : 12pm - 8pm I live in a fully gated community in a student accommodation which is pet friendly and infact hosts a lot of dog therapy sessions. I myself live in a studio apartment so I have a big space with no disturbance of any other people. I also live close to a garden so the dog will be entertained well. There are many safe walking paths for the dog around where I stay so it is all very good and safe for your dog. I would also be very careful taking your dog for a walk, in terms of street traffic and other people walking by. I will be mindful of the surroundings and the dogs safety above all. I would also be cautious about the playing habits and ensure your dog is not at risk of getting injured while playing either at the owners house or my own.

About: I have always had a variety of animals from scaly to furries so I feel confident caring for all kinds of pets. I can confidently give medication and offer all kinds of pet care from feeding, cleaning and taking for a walk. I have cared for animals that have been hospitalised at the vets, pet sitting for friends/family and currently I work at a cattery when I’m not at university. I really enjoy working with animals which is why I am pursuing a career in animal conservation. I work part time mainly in the mornings so my availability will be from mid day during most week day and all day on weekends. I offer all essential pet care and any extras owners require in their home. I do most of the pet care when back from university with my own pets. I feed, clean out, groom and walk all my pets which varies from my corn snake, fish, chickens, cats and dogs.

About: Through out my life I have had many pets including dogs. I’ve always loved to be around animals and go for walks with dogs, long or short whichever they need. I’m currently working part time and my partner works from home most days so we are very much available every day. There is never an empty flat. Also we enjoy going for walks, either close by to local parks or slightly out of Liverpool for a longer hike. I have an apartment with 2 doors to the front and locked downstairs. There are no other animals, it’s rare we have visitors but would likely not allow it during caring for a pet as we want to give them all our time.
