“Paul has been a lifesaver for my big boxer, Samson. Despite Samson's size and strength, Paul handles him with ease, showcasing his responsible and loving nature as a pet caregiver. His ability to connect with Samson and provide him with the best care is why I wholeheartedly recommend Paul to any pet owner.”
2. Bess E.
“Bess stepped in last minute to walk Seamus for us, she was patient and went above and beyond. Sending lots of pictures of their journeys too. We can’t wait to ask Bess to walk him again!”

About: I’ve owned 2 dogs in my lifetime, ranging from a boxer to a small yorkie, both of which have completely different personalities but I love them equally. My yorkie is currently 13 years old and so I have experience working with older dogs and I acknowledge that they need more time to go on short walks, as well as the possibility of bowel problems, sleepiness, and limited eating. I have also had the opportunity to take care of my friends dog while she was away on holiday, he was a cockapoo. I love going on walks around nature and whilst on these walks, I have helped reunite owners with their lost dogs twice through looking at collars, as well as ensuring the dog stays with me and is given lots of cuddles for reassurance! Im currently a second year university student and apart from Mondays, my days in university aren’t busy at all, with me only in university for 2 hours at most from Tuesday to Friday. I have Wednesdays and weekends off, as well as every evening and I would love to be able to give my love to other dogs whilst I’m in university and away from my baby at home. I’m happy to travel to different places around lancashire and Cumbria so your doggo can have a new place to wander and run about :) I Have my own room in university and it is a house with 4 other people. There is a small back yard but I live opposite the University of Cumbria which has a field, perfect for letting dogs have a toilet break if needed. I also have a car and I am more than happy for dogs to have a drive around whilst we search for a big field or nature walks!

About: I’ve had pets from being very young and I’ve always taken on the responsibility of them. I’ve been trusted by many family members and family friends to take care of their pets and since losing my dog recently, I have a lot of love to give. I’m a uni student who’s about to graduate so I have a lot of free-time to come and spend taking care of your animals, whether that be taking them for a walk or simply spending time with them. I won’t be welcoming pets into my house due to it being uni accommodation so pets aren’t allowed. I am however incredibly happy to come and look after your pets in your own house, whether that be for the day or overnight.

About: Growing up with dogs, and helping out friends and family with walking theirs, I've spent a lot of time learning how to look after different dogs - of different breeds, and very different personalities. I've loved dogs since I was a child, (my first word was dog! 😂) and love spending time with them - so would love to help you and your pet out! I have quite a flexible schedule as a student - only having a few hours a week where I have to be on campus, so anytime around my lectures works perfectly! And I'm always happy to figure out what times are best for you and your pets The safety of a pet is always my top priority. I will never let your dog off leash unless they are in an enclosed area, or I am certain that they will listen to me recalling them. Anytime I am with your pet, they will have my complete, undivided attention, to ensure I am looking after them to the best of my ability. I'll send you update photos/videos as frequently as you request, and consistently let you know how you pet is doing, and where we're walking. I'll ask quite a few questions before meeting your pet, to ensure I care for them to the best of my ability, and follow and instructions or boundaries you give without fail.

18. Eugenie W.
“Eugenie’s passion for dogs shines through in her work. My dog Archie loves her and gets so excited to see her when she arrives. She always goes the extra mile to improve his comfort. I would highly recommend Eugenie based on the extremely positive experience my dog and I have had from her work during physiotherapy sessions and just with dogs in general.”

About: I have looked after cats, dogs, horses and smaller animals as well. I have stayed in peoples homes for up to 1 month looking after their beloved pets. I have looked after younger dogs as well as older pets, some which required medicine. I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule most weeks. I’m looking for either regular pet walking to add to my schedule or will be available for non regular needs, if with last minute notice it might not always be possible but will always try to accommodate requests. Where owners are comfortable with playing off leash in a garden, I am more than happy to let dogs enjoy some outdoor space freedom, however otherwise I prefer to keep dogs on leash when leaving the house. I will try to keep pets as relaxed as possible and follow as similar a routine that is wanted by owners and keep it as familiar as possible for pets.

About: I have four dogs, all under the age of 1 (yikes). I’m happy to order some puppy training on drop ins or stays, or just offer a friendly face for your pup whilst your away. My eldest dog had meningitis when he hit 6 months old, and I cared for him round the clock for months. I understand how important it is that your pet has a friend and trusting face for those moments, so when you can’t drop everything in your day, I will try to myself. My dog is now reactive, so im able to accommodate if yours is too on walks, or just ware them out in your garden. If you have an emergency, just drop me a message and I’ll try my best :) Me and my partner are aiming to set up our own canine hydrotherapy centre and day care, so all earnings are going towards my hydro course. If you message me, I’ll try my best to move things around if I’m not available but you have an emergency. My partner is around a lot too, so will sometimes assist me as she also loves dogs, her name is Fleur . I am currently finishing my degree, so have lots of spare time to offer my services. Anything you currently do for your dogs, I promise to stick to myself. Whether they’re poorly, reactive or just high energy I have experienced it all myself with my own. I know how scary it is to place them under the care of someone else but hit me with some details instructions and I promise to try my best. I do have crates, this is because my eldest was kept in at the vets for a few days so crate training has become so important to us. If you don’t want yours in a crate that’s also fine. We have a fenced in garden, a car to take them on nicer and longer walks, and two loving people in the house so they’ll always have company :)
