About: I’ve pet sat multiple times before and walked dogs more times than I could count and pets have always gone home with wagging tails :) I also have worked at a premier doggy day care/boarding facility for almost 4 years and previously worked at 2 different animal shelters/vet clinics as well as volunteering at various animal shelters before that. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, backgrounds (agressive and anxious dogs included), and special needs. I have experience in obedience & task training, as well as some public access training; I’ve also worked closely with a military dog trainer and two other local trainers and I am in the process of training my 4 year old husky for public access. I offer many variations of full grooming services and I have all the supplies needed; I just request we discuss the history and outlook before hand (a consultation essentially). I have worked and trained with professional groomers and I’ve done grooming at the boarding facility for 4 years and now provide service outside of that as well as grooming my own husky and husky-collie mix: I can provide full baths, blowouts, fashion styling, soft-trimming, de-shedding, de-matting (we must discuss the matting before hand as severity of matting impacts price and course of action), nail trims, ear and eye cleanings, hot spot & cracked nose/paw-pad treatment, and teeth cleaning. I’m trained to administer eye drops/ oral/injection/topical medicine and I can accommodate any dietary restrictions or preparations, special needs, senior dogs, in-heat or pregnant butches and young puppies. I am canine first aid and CPR/Heimlich certified also, I’m feline CPR certified. I typically provide walks (ranging from 20min-1hr), I offer excursions (hiking adventures/longer walks), boarding at my home (if requested, I also offer to go on backpacking/camping trips w/ your pet if you want them to have an extra special time while you’re away), pet sitting (at your residence), and drop-in visits (feeding & letting out & playing w/ or watering plants/checking on other animals). Uniquely, I have experience from my studies as well as personal pets with marine and aquatic care and upkeep: specifically with both hard+soft corals, marine exotic fish, freshwater fish-especially Betta fish coi fish and goldfish, nudibranches, hermit crabs, aquatic dwarf frogs, corn snakes, and leopard geckos. I’ve also owned and cared for chickens, ducks, hamsters, mice, gerbils, Guinea pigs, and rabbits and I have experience and training to properly care for and handle wolf-hybrids/wolf dogs Im currently taking a few classes in the mornings M-F ending around 10:30am. Other than that I dedicate my day to walking/caring for pets including my own; we try to take at least one long walk a day to nearby hiking trails and I door dash for around 5 hours late at night I have a spacious 1 and a half bedroom/office with a front porch and apt. Deck and I have 2 dogs of my own, they are very sweet and do well with other dogs. My dogs have their own space in my house in the office room that I can either accommodate for your pet as well or they can have their own space in my largely unused walk in closet (or I could just keep them w/ me by or on my bed). There’s multiple trails next to my house and many nearby (all nearby trails are 15 min or less away)! as well as tennis courts that I take dogs to run around and play. There’s also a few dog parks that I can take them to up to your discretion, I myself try to go when there’s little to no people there either way. I’m home most of the day. Also when boarding or using day care services, I can arrange (no added charge) for going on a hike or longer adventure with your pup so they can get some one-on-one time :) I’m also open to speaking about any other ideas you may have in mind or any activities your pet may enjoy!
