As 12 year old, she and a girlfriend volunteered for the Pet Adoption at PetCo. near our home every weekend for two years; she loved it and wanted to bring home every cat or dog she met! And sometimes she did! Later, as a teenager, she worked for a couple who trained dogs and and had a kennel in their home; there she learned a lot about training them. Harvey and Queenie are our children, so leaving them with a sitter requires a immense faith and trust in the person who will be caring for them. We looked at the great reviews for Lucy on the Rover.com and decided to give her a try. We were NOT disappointed. Lucy is amazing. A few days before her stay with the four-legged fur children, she came by our place to meet and get acquainted with the pooskies. She spent an hour in our home, and both dogs immediately warmed up to her. We could tell that she LOVES dogs. Our little girl, Queenie (who is a rescue and very timid) curled up beside Lucy and took a nap. And Harvey presented her with toys. That was "endorsement" enough to know the doggies would be happy spending the day with her. While we were gone, Lucy checked in a few times and sent the most adorable pictures of Queenie and Harvey. Today, the dogs are a bit "sulky" which is their typical behavior when a new friend comes and then leaves. Without a doubt we will hire Lucy again to care for our beloved Boston Terriers. We feel so lucky to have found Lucy and to know that she took such great care of our babies. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND LUCY!!”

About: I have been caring for all pets since I was a young child and professionally caring for dogs for over 20 years. About: We cater to small dogs only and will not accept dogs that are aggressive or have anxiety problems or problems with other dogs. We love dogs and will accept your dog as part of our family and incorporate them into our daily lives. Your dog will be treated with love and affection. We offer a safe, secure environment and will love your dog just like you do. We have several outside secured areas/patios for dogs, one of which has direct access for potty. You will receive photos of your dog several times daily. We will take your dog with us on our daily errands, shopping, and walks. We take walks to El Paseo, mountain trails, our local neighborhood, and local shopping centers. Note that day care services are for up to 10 hours. Each hour thereafter will be charged at $5/hr. Earliest drop off is 7:00 am and last pick-up time is 10:00 pm.

“I have only let one other person EVER walk our 150 lb Mastiff in 9yrs. He’s polite but can be stubborn and when he outweighs his walker can be a problem. Lauren was great with him from the beginning! She has walked him on the days I have to be gone for lengthy times and always sends me a photo of him.
