She was very understanding and accommodating as our plans rapidly changed. I would like to book with her again in the future if we have another trip.”

“My husband I have used Heidi several times to watch our furbabies while traveling. I cannot recommend Heidi enough! We have 3 dogs and 3 cats - which can be a handful but was not an issue for Heidi. She was able to stay in our house while we were out of town, which was amazing because I did not want our dogs to be left home alone at night and I did not want to board them. She took the dogs on several walks during each day and sent pictures to us so that we could see that they were well cared for. One of our dogs is elderly and does not walk as well as the others, but Heidi made sure to include her in the walks and even carried her a couple of times! You can tell that Heidi genuinely loves animals, which is important when you are looking for someone to care for them. I felt completely safe and comfortable with Heidi caring for our animals and house while we were out of town and will definitely be using her again every time we travel!”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide variety of animals since I was able to drive. I am comfortable giving medications and subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs as well as caring for homestead animals. I currently have a Great Dane and three cats and am a retired Science teacher, who lives most of the year off grid with my two young adult boys. I have experience caring for exotic animals such as ferrets, and reptiles as well. Your pets would be my top priority. I am a retired school teacher and my schedule is mostly wide open. I have a few commitments that I’m sure would not deter me for caring for your pets. I will care for your pets as instructed by you and in a manner that allows them to feel most comfortable and not disrupt their daily schedule.

About: I have worked as a consistent volunteer in charge of taking care of farm animals, as well as a volunteer at the humane society here in Flagstaff. I have had dogs all my life and am a huge animal lover! I also have professional pet sitting experience with several dogs and cats. I’m currently a college student at NAU and am newly unemployed as to focus more on school. However, I am on Rover to meet more animal friends and have a little side hustle! :) I currently live in an apartment, so I would love to have your pet stay in the home that they are familiar with while I care for them. Whether that means I stay with them at your home or check in with them several times a day is up to you!
