“Zach was great with our dog (and home) when we needed someone to come stay and watch him at the last minute. He promptly responded and scheduled a next day meet and greet. Our dog also required medicine at the time and Zach ensured he got everything he needed and was well cared for while we were gone. We loved the updates and photos too! We even came home and the house was cleaner than we left it. Sincerely appreciate Zach’s help at the last minute!”

About: My family takes rescued dogs, so I have experience being around sensitive dogs and animals. I grew up with my cousins farm so being with animals has always been a big part of my life. currently doing Rover full-time and some personal dog/cat sitting outside of Rover as well. I am moving in July however Im available before that for sitting and more, (see calendar for more specifics). My animals are one of my most important things to me in my life. I play ball with my dogs and always check on them making sure they have water and food. My dog Ella has lots of stuffy and toys to play with. At the farm I would clean the horse stalls and feed them. I would feed the goats and check on the chickens and collect eggs, make sure they had water and food too.

Our elderly chihuahua, Mambo, hasn't been cared for by anyone new in many years and we weren't sure how he would react to a stranger (outside of the meet and greet) but we came home to a calm and happy dog, a clean house, and two indifferent cats (which makes sense because, you know, cats). We hope Taniyah will be available in the future because she is marvelous!”

“Our 16-year old part-feral kitty has a reputation among the many people who have known her - on both coasts of the U.S. - for her whole life. While having her own charm, she is touchy and extremely protective of her personal space. With vets, she is virtually un-treatable. So it was with some trepidation that we hired a complete stranger for the first time ever to look after her for over a week. Naomi impressed us with her professionalism and passion for winning over her charges. We gave her some pointers, crossed our fingers, and left the two of them to sort it out. Within only a couple days our cat went from hissing virulently and hiding for hours, to actually tolerating touch and engaging in play in Naomi's presence. We can't be more impressed and delighted. Thank you Naomi!! We are so happy for you to join the small family of our cat's fans and trusted sitters.”

He sent photos while we were away so that we knew everything was going well at home, and I'm pretty sure the house was cleaner when we came home than when we left!! We're so glad we found Jacob and we'll definitely be asking him to pet sit for us during our next trip.”
