About: My husband and I loved our dog for 10 years. We can’t get another one anytime soon but will love yours like our own. We both had dogs as pets growing up and have cared for a pet for 40+ years. I am an elementary school principal. I am available for full-time care or walking June-August. Outside of that, I’m available full-time on the weekends and evenings during the week. We are available to accommodate personal requests, a safe environment and safe neighborhood. We are looking to provide care for your beloved pet and to help you out when needed.

About: I work at a doggy daycare where I care for all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities! I monitor group playtimes and behavior! About: I love spending time with dogs and have an easy time getting along with different varieties of dog and dog personality. I'm happy being active with your pup and getting in some good walking or fetching time, or just chilling out and scratching behind the ears if so desired. I'm glad to serenade your pet as well, I love a captive audience! Simply let me know what you want for your dog while you're out of the house and I'll provide it. I am glad to cater to your desired approach of dog ownership, strict or relaxed, as long as it does not include physical punishment. Regarding the time slots listed - I might have a hard time making the earliest of the first shift but I should be able to manage 8 AM, and I could gladly go as late as 5 or maybe 6 PM, but wouldn't care to go as late as 10.

“A M A Z I N G!!! Our dog had an opportunity to spend some serious time with his grandmother. Liz made it all happen. She was punctual. She was flexible. She was caring. April & Brad R.Star Sitter
“I want to recommend April R for a dog caregiver position formally. My dog is my life, and I don't trust many people with him; for that reason, I am significantly picky about who he is left with when I have to leave town without him. I trust April completely; I know that she would treat him as if he was her dog in her care, and I would not have to worry about him at all. She would be an asset to your team.”

Kylee W.
“Kylee takes care of all animals as if they are her very own. The time she takes to make the animal feel safe and comfortable is great to see. After a great walk with kylee, the pups are exhausted!”

Bjorn S.

“While not a dog owner, I had a cat that was very much a dog and couldn't handle more than a day or two left at home alone if I were to go out of town. Bjorn was always my go to person to have come and watch my cat when I was away because as an animal lover and good friend, he knew how much the cat meant to me, got along with him just as well as I did, and enjoyed spending time with him. Last spring, my cat grew increasingly sick and the vets had assured me that there wasn't a whole lot of time left. In the cat's very last week, I was extremely conflicted because I had plans out of town from months in advance that I couldn't change. I was pretty panicked, knowing that anything could happen while I was away and didn't want to leave that responsibility on someone else, should anything come up. Bjorn, as always was up to it, helped comfort him all the while until I returned home, ultimately having to let go and say goodbye, days later. It really meant a lot and I'll always be grateful for that. He's very good with animals of all sorts and would be an excellent caregiver. Can't recommend him enough.”

“I have known Carolyn for many years and she’s my go to person for questions about cats. She has helped rescue and foster many cats. Carolyn has had pets as long as I’ve known her and they have all loved her as much as she loves them. I say all this as a cat lover myself. If we lived closer to each other, Carolyn would be my first choice for taking care of our four cats.”

Enrique A.
“Enrique was absolutely incredible. He boarded my cats at his place for an extended stay, and they felt instantly so comfortable with him! He gave great updates with pictures and videos, was easy to reach, flexible, and asked great questions. I know my kitties got so much love and attention with Enrique, they looked like they had a blast! Enrique also stayed at my apartment before to watch my pets. He left everything as he found it - in fact, even cleaner! He always made sure to bring in the mail/packages/etc. I will be sure to reach out to him in the future with any pet/house care needs as I trust him completely! So easy to work with, friendly, professional, and respectful. 10/10 recommend.”
