About: I’m the designated dog walker for family and friends because I love going on walks, and dogs love coming with me! I grew up with a dog but only have two cats of my own— so I miss having that four-legged friend to go with me! I’d love to take your dog out for a walk/run, or just let them stretch their legs. Cat owners, I’m happy to give your kitties as much or as little space as they need while making sure they feel the love :) I don’t work Fridays or Saturdays, so I am free to help anytime then! Definitely looking to fill my Fridays up with some time outside, and I’d love to take your dog with me - or check in on your cat! I usually walk my parent’s and brother’s dogs (about 80 lbs each) so I know how to handle bigger dogs on leashes who tend to stray from the sidewalk. I can clean up after them, feed them, and give them all the pets! For my cats at home, I love to play with strings or catnip - and can cater to their personality as need be.

About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I’ve frequently pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and people through word of mouth, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, medications, overnight care, litter boxes, and keeping pets comfortable while their owners are away. I’m very patient, attentive, and reliable, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. I recently joined this app to connect with more pet owners and continue doing something I’ve always enjoyed! I usually work out early in the morning around 7:30, so the rest of my day is very open and flexible for pet care. I’m able to fit walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, playtime, very easily into my routine. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets never feels like a chore to me. I’m very reliable with communication and making sure pets stay on their normal routines while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs with very different personalities and needs. I currently help take care of my own dog at home, who stays in a fenced-in yard, and I also frequently help with my best friend’s and girlfriend’s dogs as well. Since they’re all different breeds and temperaments, I’m used to adjusting care depending on the dog, whether that means high-energy play, extra patience, sticking to strict routines, or making them feel comfortable in new environments. About: Animals have always been a part of my life. They show us so much love. Who are we not to give it back in return. Since the passing of our long time dog (Roc,15) we’ve been watching our friends and family dogs while they’re out of town. In each case the owners return with their dogs a little hesitant about wanting to return home. LOL. I work from home and I have no plans of switching to another job that would require me to go into the office. Therefore, I have plenty of time to play with your big and little babies. I also like to take walks at minimum twice a day. This is a perfect time for your fur babies to stretch their legs. After a nice long walk I clean their paws to make sure they leave the yucky stuff outside. I have a designated area where they can sleep. However, I like to keep them close to me during the day while I’m working. I think it sets them up for a positive visit. They immediately become part of the family. I also have the flexibility to take them out throughout the day. There is a highly recommended veterinarian within a two minute driving distance and maybe a ten minute walk in the event of an emergency.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I've had dogs ever since I can remember. I was brought up to love, respect and care for animals and that's why I got into vetmed back in my home country. I had to stop my studies to come here but I haven't stopped wanting to help. As a pet parent, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to support you and help you care for your furry babies. I have pet and house sitted for friends and family in the past. I have pet sitted cats and dogs but I'm open to help with small species and exotic pets. About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. About: Hello! I come from a family of dog lovers currently with 20 doggies in just my imitated family plus close aunts/uncles and cousins. We have quite the hectic family holidays. I've had lots of dog sitting experience between all those pups as well as being on Rover for 9 years now. My favorite pup is my border collie/aussie mix, Piper. She’s a rescue, almost 8 years old and all energy all the time. She’s keeps me active and taught me how to keep dogs physically and mentally exercised. I’m super easy going, just let me know how I can help you and your furry friends! I work mostly from home but still make time to get some extra dog time in my day. I can do morning, some lunch, and evening check-ins/walks on weekends and Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Dogs will always be kept on leash unless in a secure, fenced in area with me.
