About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

About: NEWLY RELOCATED: Welcome to The Hardy-Berndt Ranch! Our family adopted our first dog together back in 2010. Since then, we have adopted many more, fostered almost forty dogs together, and love having extra heartbeats in our home. We appreciate dogs of all sizes, shapes, breeds, and ages with a soft spot for shy dogs, big dogs, and seniors. Our resident dog, Bosley, is a friendly sort and enjoys a romp with well-matched playmates. Dogs who enjoy the company of others will be welcome to visit in our home and be with our resident dog with supervision. We also have two dog-loving kids who enjoy helping out with our "visitor dogs" by playing, reading to them, and all the cuddling they could want. Having fostered several dogs with challenging behaviors and understanding how important it is for them to be safe and comfortable, we welcome dogs who may need a little time time to “warm up” or prefer plenty of space. We would discuss this with any clients to ensure the most comfortable option for your pet(s). For dogs working on social skills or with specific training needs, our family will gladly discuss with you and do our best to reinforce the training you are working on at home. About: Animals have always been a part of my life. They show us so much love. Who are we not to give it back in return. Since the passing of our long time dog (Roc,15) we’ve been watching our friends and family dogs while they’re out of town. In each case the owners return with their dogs a little hesitant about wanting to return home. LOL. I work from home and I have no plans of switching to another job that would require me to go into the office. Therefore, I have plenty of time to play with your big and little babies. I also like to take walks at minimum twice a day. This is a perfect time for your fur babies to stretch their legs. After a nice long walk I clean their paws to make sure they leave the yucky stuff outside. I have a designated area where they can sleep. However, I like to keep them close to me during the day while I’m working. I think it sets them up for a positive visit. They immediately become part of the family. I also have the flexibility to take them out throughout the day. There is a highly recommended veterinarian within a two minute driving distance and maybe a ten minute walk in the event of an emergency.

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

I can go on a run and/or walk with your dog or just give them a little extra love and attention. I am a big fan of all dogs whether they are big or small. I also know some about cats if you need help with them as well. I am available on weekends and if needed can work in a Friday too. This allows me to put all my attention on your pets. I have one fur baby of my own that can easily be separated from your pup if needed. I also have easily access to a crate and a neighborhood dog park.

I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I have my own puppy, tons of experience with all animals. Took multiple classes on small animals. Love all breeds and types. Very active person also. I have my own dog and have tons of time on my hands go to the dog park and beach almost everyday. The animals are always active doing something. There is a invisible fence which we have a extra collar for, otherwise large yard to run in. We do have a kennel out back but prefer not to use it unless that’s your preference

In my early 20’s I worked for a company walking dogs a s I currently take a dog to daycare / walk 3 times a week ! I love all animals ! I stay at home daily and occasionally do some part time work that is flexible . I’m pretty open and able to work around your schedule ! I have a fenced in yard that accommodates smaller dogs or dogs who will not jump . I have a 13lb Pom who is my little baby And seems to get song very well with other dogs.
