About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Since I was 10 years old, there’s always been a dog in the house, and I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is convincing my mom to let me adopt a stray I found outside my dad’s business—that dog became a beloved member of our family and solidified my bond with animals. I also have several years of professional experience working at Community Bark Dog Wash in Bayside as a dog bather, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This hands-on experience taught me how to read animals’ behavior, build trust, and handle everything from playful puppies to nervous seniors. I’ve also spent a lot of time with cats, thanks to friends and family, and I’m just as comfortable caring for them. What sets me apart is my active, patient, and attentive approach. I’m an athletic guy who loves getting outside for walks, runs, and playtime to keep pets happy and stimulated. At the same time, I take pride in being calm and patient, which helps me connect with animals, especially those who might be anxious or shy. About: I am very passionate about animals, dogs in particular. I currently volunteer at HAWS and dog walk there every week. They truly bring me Joy! My job of 26 years was just eliminated. This now allows my week to be pretty flexible to do what actually brings me joy = spending time with animals. My preference would be to have a changeable schedule with clients. About: I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I possibly could remember. I’ve dealt with all ages including caring for my own pregnant dog and helping birth and care for the puppies. I currently have three large dogs that are adults and have cared for two of them since they were puppies. My third dog is a rescue who has been a part of my family since he was one. I have went through extensive training with my dogs and have been able to work with other pet parents to help train their dogs who are struggling with aggression and/or highly reactive dogs. I also work with senior dogs and any extra attention they may need as I have had my own senior dog. I am fully capable of working with any special needs dogs as well. Having 3 dogs fits info my schedule pretty normally and I have no issues doing so. I have a work from home job meaning I can be here to care for all the dogs needs at any time. Feeding, walking, playing, bathing (if need be), if dogs have any medication I can give it to them. Lots of snuggles as well!! Dogs will be in a safe separate area from my personal dogs.

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. I have watched friends and neighbors animals from checking in with cats daily to housing dogs for a few days to months. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can check on your pet in the morning before work, during my lunch break and after work. If you need me to be at your house full time with your pet I can easily work from home multiple days. I am a digital media marketer so I can work about anywhere and at any time. I have a fenced in yard with 2 very playful dogs if they need any playtime. I know a great dog park for dogs to run and play their heart out. I love going outside so taking dogs for walks is one of my favorite things to do. Since I live with 2 dogs I know how to feed, play, relax and sleep with them.

Perseus watched my three cats on short notice and took the time to understand their individual needs and very specific feeding schedules. One of my cats only eats one type of food and changes her mind every other day, another needs to eat behind a closed door so the others won't eat their food, and one of them is very shy around strangers and I was worried he wouldn't eat while I was gone, but Perseus was patient and made my scaredy-cat feel right at home. Upon my request, he agreed to send daily updates on the cats so I could be assured they were being well-cared for, and he was happy to confirm all the tedious things I asked for to make my cats as comfortable as possible in someone else's home. He was personable, kind, and patient with both me and my cats, and made me feel more comfortable with leaving my babies with a stranger! At the end of the week, he didn't feel like a stranger anymore but someone I could genuinely trust.”
