About: Animals have always been a part of my life. They show us so much love. Who are we not to give it back in return. Since the passing of our long time dog (Roc,15) we’ve been watching our friends and family dogs while they’re out of town. In each case the owners return with their dogs a little hesitant about wanting to return home. LOL. I work from home and I have no plans of switching to another job that would require me to go into the office. Therefore, I have plenty of time to play with your big and little babies. I also like to take walks at minimum twice a day. This is a perfect time for your fur babies to stretch their legs. After a nice long walk I clean their paws to make sure they leave the yucky stuff outside. I have a designated area where they can sleep. However, I like to keep them close to me during the day while I’m working. I think it sets them up for a positive visit. They immediately become part of the family. I also have the flexibility to take them out throughout the day. There is a highly recommended veterinarian within a two minute driving distance and maybe a ten minute walk in the event of an emergency.

“Paul did an awesome job taking care of our elderly dog. It was difficult to leave her with a new dog sitter (our usual sitter got a new job) but after meeting Paul and seeing that Rheyah was immediately comfortable with him, we felt confident that he would take good care of her. Paul made sure that Rheyah took her medicine multiple times per day, fed her a special diet and even gave her a partial bath every other night to treat her chronic skin condition. He also took her for 2 walks per day when the weather permitted. Paul’s frequent photos and descriptions of what he and Rheyah were doing helped to calm my anxiety about leaving her with someone new. Not only did Paul take care of Rheyah, but he also fed my fish and managed to keep my not-so-healthy plants alive! We are very grateful that Paul’s profile came up on Rover and that he agreed to take care of Rheyah so that we could attend our granddaughter’s 1st birthday. About: I pet it all of my phones and families dogs whether it’s from short visits to letting the dogs outside to go potty or overnight stays. I have been doing this for over two years now, but it’s been a lot more frequent over the past two years. I have always loved dogs. In fact I have two big dogs one purebred German Shepherd and the other dog is a great Pyrenees mix. I am working with Rover now because I’m trying to be able to afford an apartment for myself and just take care of my basic necessities. I know how well I will want my dogs taken care of if I needed a sitter so I try to provide that same care to my clients! I can usually make any time work as best for you. I don’t have a full-time job. It should be my primary job right now. I can do anything you need me to do. Feeding the dogs, letting them out to go potty, taking them to play, taking them on a walk, etc.

“Emily was great at communicating with us the entire stay, and we could tell from all her updates and pictures that our pups loved having her around. Our flight ended up getting delayed because of the blizzard rolling through Wisconsin this past weekend, and Emily was able to help make sure our pups were let out and fed while we figured out how to get back to Milwaukee. I would absolutely recommend Emily to anyone else looking for expert and friendly care for their pups on Rover. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.

“Molly absolutely crushed it- I can’t say enough good things. Our dogs have huge personalities, some bizarre behaviors, and special needs (and so does our weird old rental house) and she handled all of it with aplomb. Our resident canine klutz tore his paw pad the night before we left, and even though we totally sprung this development on Molly at the last minute, pro that she is, she jumped in and changed his dressings, kept the area clean, AND kept the dog calm to prevent further injury. He was basically fully healed upon our return. Thanks, Molly! We will be back if you’ll have us- with fewer surprises next time, we hope!”

About: Grew up taking care of animals — have always had dogs (big and small, puppy to adult) and grew up around a farm, so I am comfortable around different animals. I am familiar with their needs, behavioral queues, and differences. I work from home most days, so I could easily work from the hosts home, or host the dog with me (shorter periods of time). The dog can free roam in my apartment, there is no issues with furniture. I have enough space to play with them inside, and work flexibility to give frequent walks. I live in an apartment with a fenced in backyard. Other neighbors have dogs and regularly let them sniff around back there with no issue, though I would not leave the dog unattended back there and would opt for regular walks.
