About: As a lifelong dog owner and lover, I'm well attuned to reading and handling the signals dogs give off regarding their comfort, fear and territorial/aggressive behaviors. I'm physically strong and I trust dogs, but I know that triggers can come up anytime and I'm always equipped to take control and safely defuse anxiety inducing situations with grace and care. I pride myself on my ability to form loving and trusting relationships with dogs of all personality types. I've had endless experience walking dogs, had a beloved family dog (Cinco!) for 12 years, lived with and cared for a roommates dog for 7 months, and as a personal assistant, cared for a dog (Gracie!) daily/weekly for 12 months. I take being in charge of another person's beloved animal with the utmost seriousness and look forward to getting to know your amazing dog! I’m home in Milwaukee until August 31st and have enormously flexible availability up until then! Would love to establish and weekly schedule with you and your pet, or come on a need basis. Apart from just bathroom breaks, meals, and walks, I also find it personally important to keep your pet stimulated and calm! Love to play games, have a nice scratch sesh, or go for long walks. I also know where your pet is in my accommodation or yours.

About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

About: I have been passionate about animals, big and small, my entire life! I have volunteered at humane societies, fostered animals in need, cared for the pets of family members and friends, interned at AZA-accredited zoos, and worked at wildlife sanctuaries. Currently I am a full-time licensed wildlife rehabilitator caring for injured and orphaned Wisconsin wildlife with the goal of releasing them back into the wild, but I have previously worked with a variety of domestic animals both in my personal and in my professional life. I am well versed in animal behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement. I promise to treat (and spoil) your pets like they are my own! At the moment I have 3 sweet cats, a high-energy dog, a mischievous chinchilla, and a gentleman of a ball python! Please do not hesitate to reach out and get to know me more! As the weather warms up, I prioritize your pet's health by limiting outdoor exposure and focusing on shorter, cooler walks during peak heat hours.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was a teenager, and my experience spans all ages and temperaments. Growing up with a gentle Irish Setter and several American Staffordshire Terriers made me comfortable working with both large breeds and high-energy dogs. I’ve supported dogs through every stage of life—from helping with newborn litters and caring for energetic puppies to providing patient, gentle support for seniors. I’m attentive, calm, and respectful of each pet’s routine, which helps them feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home most days during the week. I keep a regular schedule with dedicated work blocks, so I plan pet care around those times. Morning and evening outings are easy for me to accommodate, and throughout the day I provide a calm, consistent presence in the home. Your pet will have a comfortable routine and plenty of companionship when I’m here. I only care for pets in their own homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. I always let the animal approach me at their own pace, giving them time to adjust and build trust. Once they’re ready, I offer plenty of affection, attention, and reassurance. I follow your routines closely, keep the home environment calm and consistent, and make sure they feel secure while you’re away.

About: I have had multiple dogs through out my life. During high school my family had 4 dogs in the house which were 3 Labs and 1 Bully mix. Since my wife and I moved out we currently live with our doghter, Nala. We also recently adopted our cat, Neo who is sweet and loving towards other dogs. I usually take my dog out during the morning around 7am to 8 am, during the afternoon after the dogs have breakfast, once again during 4 or 5pm, and then one final time before we head to bed around 8pm or 9pm. This is a daily routine for Nala and I that we have stuck to since she was a puppy and works great for us over all. We usually walk around the block or play in the background as sometimes she doesn't need to potty and just needs that outside enrichment. I currently have a fenced yard for the back yard if the dogs do plan to play. The only part that is not fenced up is the driveway, but for the most part Nala and I do walk so that she can get some steps in and also so she won't poop too much in the backyard. If I am visiting your home I will come respectfully and walk your dog with Nala or without what ever your preference is and also give a detailed check-in of your dog to put your mind at ease.

About: I have watched friends and neighbor's pets for years and decided to sign up with Rover. I love all animals. I have 1 dog and 1 cat, and they are family. I will walk, love and play with all pets staying with me and follow instructions given by their owners. I can watch puppies that are really like toddlers or older wiser members of your families. I am comfortable giving medications if needed. Most will sleep on my bed and yes, they are allowed on my furniture, but they are welcome to sleep or nap wherever they would like. I want you to go on vacation knowing they are happy and having a vacation of their own. I have a morning routine which includes a long walk, depending on temperature, playing in the yard with my dog and another walk usually late afternoon. Walks include walks around my neighborhood and also at parks. While your dog is in my care, I will not be going to any dog parks with them. I will have our dogs meet prior to accepting a job. They can play in my yard and once we are both comfortable with their meeting, we can schedule a time for drop off or pick up. While in my home they will be treated with love and respect. Walks and playtime throughout the day. They are allowed to sleep or hang out wherever they would like.
