There is such a difference between knowing your pet is being well cared for and knowing she is being genuinely loved while you’re away, and with Ashley, I never have to worry for a second. Her entire family is so incredibly sweet to Penelope, and she is clearly completely comfortable and happy in their home. “Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

About: I've always owned my own cats, and helped with neighbor cats as a kid. As an adult, I own my own two cats, currently a tabby with white patches named Bella and a calico named Elly. I also am a cat cuddler and cat foster mom at HAWS and have been doing that for 8 years now. As a foster mom, I have cared for weaned kittens and done all kinds of medications. I also cared for two of my own elderly cats and did subcutaneous fluids and medications for them as well. I love socializing and caring for cats.

About: I grew up having three different dogs ever until I was about 13. Over the last couple years, I’ve watched, walked, and overall taken care of several dogs for friends and family. I genuinely love to be around dogs and to play. I work from home full-time so I can give your dog a good amount of attention throughout the day with breaks to play and take a necessary potty or walk. I had a beagle with me for 15 years and he was on various medications as he aged so I know how to administer medications if needed. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8-4:30 but am happy to walk your pet before or after those hours! I am happy to provide whatever care they might need while you are away. I see pets as members of the family. I have 2 dogs...a terrier and a mini poodle. I love them to pieces and they run the house! Lol. They are well behaved and allowed on the furniture and the bed. Your fur babies would be too! I want them to be comfortable in my home. If I’m dropping in to take care of your fur baby in their home just let me know what I need to do for them and consider it done! I take my pups out every morning for a short walk, after work, and just before bed time. I feed them twice a day with occasional treats that they love mixed in :) I'm in an apartment so they will be leashed when we go outside. I live close to 3 different parks as well as the Menomonee River Parkway....lots of space to walk with them and let them sniff away!

“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and now have a 2 year old golden retriever that I raised as a puppy. I’ve invested a lot of time learning how to train dogs effectively so that I can best care for my own and others dogs. I work from home full time, so would love to provide day care for dogs that get along well with others and that would benefit from individual attention and another dog playmate. **I just started on Rover so that’s why I have only a few reviews. Setting prices low to get initial clients, so take advantage! Happy to talk through any questions to make sure you feel great about your pet’s care!** I work fully from home so am available for day care during the work week and some weekends. I can also do dog walks or drop ins during the work week. I’m open to overnights as well after first successfully testing out day care. I have a back yard (not fenced, but I have long leads if needed) and a large unfinished basement for play. I have a 2 year old golden retriever that is very friendly and great with all dogs.
