About: I've been around dogs all my life and love giving them plenty of play time and attention. I also just recently gained experience with puppies. About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.
“Nikki was great! She answered our request promptly when we needed a sitter for our two Poms after our pre-arranged sitter we used to use said she couldn’t do our 1 day dog sitting. We were visiting from TN and wanted to attend the State Fair. We would have had to go two different days but this way we could be gone all day and know our dogs were in good hands. She arrived early to get to meet them and get instructions on walking, feeding and meds. She is a very sweet woman and your dogs will love her! If we come to WI with our dogs next year, I will try and book Nikki again!”

Went on vacation from April 8 - 16 and hired Jenn as a pet sitter at my house. I cannot say enough how nice, thoughtful and caring she was. She took great care of my elderly dog and 2 cats. Jenn got my very shy cat to come out in 1 day. Amazing! She sent pics and notified everyday on how they were doing. I felt as ease being gone. I would definitely hire Jenn again and recommend her to anyone. She left my house just the way it was when I left. Ilya did a wonderful job watching my pup Val and cat Roara while I was on vacation! Provided updates each day and was patient with my pup who can sometimes take a while to warm up to people! She was Ilya's biggest fan in no time, lots of play and belly rubs! I would highly recommend!
Cary was an excellent dog sitter! She cared for my dog for 7 days while I was out of the country, and this was my first time being away from my dog. She was very thoughtful about sending regular updates throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Cary stayed at my home and took great care of both my dog and my space. Seth was great! He jumped right in to watch our boys last minute and was great about sending photos and updates throughout our time away. He was open and communicative during a scheduling snafu, which helped ease our anxiety. We came home to a clean house, which was so unexpected and appreciated, and two very happy dogs. We will definitely rebook with Seth in the future.
Kelsey took amazing care of my 3 pups for 4 nights/5 days. She was very patient with my rescue who is afraid of his own shadow and eventually won his trust. She took wonderful care of my house too — when I arrived home, it was immaculate, and my 3 dogs were happy and healthy! Highly recommend!!
Esterah was so great with our pets during the house sitting. Our dog is very nervous and she was patient with him when she first arrived. We got lots up updates. She asked questions during the meet and greet and the house sitting which was much appreciated. We came home to a clean house and happy pets!

Hands down best dog sitter and will use her services again. Very friendly, loves dogs, good communicator, detail oriented. I get very anxious leaving my anxious dog who can be quite a bit to handle with all his quirks, but was not worried leaving him with Margit. She is laid back and easy to work with yet professional and clearly has experience with dogs. Really appreciate her and how well she cared for our dog with separation anxiety.
