About: I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every pet like they are my own. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, energetic with playful dogs, and gentle with senior animals who may need extra support and slower-paced care. I’m also very detail-oriented and make sure routines are followed closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I communicate consistently with pet owners through updates and photos so they always know their pet is happy and well cared for. What sets me apart most is the amount of genuine attention and affection I give to each pet. I don’t just “watch” animals — I spend quality time with them to make sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for while you’re away. I'm currently nannying on weekdays from 8:00am - 4:30 pm, so I’m available for morning visits before work, evening walks/check-ins, and overnight care depending on the pet’s needs. I’m especially flexible on weekends and have much more availability for walks, drop-ins, extended stays, and quality playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent, stress-free, and fun. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime, and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I have two large-breed dogs at home, so I’m comfortable handling bigger, high-energy dogs, and I have also frequently dog sat for smaller-breed dogs with different temperaments and care needs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always follow owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care requests.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was always fostering dogs in need of a home and spending time with them was my favorite part of the day. Family, friends, and neighbors always knew they could rely on me to watch, walk, and love their pets like my own (taking probably too many pictures of the adorable fluffers.) About: I do part time senior Care and some of my clients have animals I find it very important that they are well taken care of and happy as they bring a lot of comfort to my clients when I'm away This means plenty of walks up and down hills going out and sitting on the grass at live music shows and tons of interactions with other dogs while we shop for groceries downtown Food schedules almost go hand in hand when Im meal prepping for my human clients We've invented a few new games with my one clients and her lab misty Her favorite being the wagon tire I attacted to a bind of cordage and a spring up in a tree limb misty loves to jump and snatch the tire while it bounces around Well I love to work out throughout the week and on weekends I would normally go for small hikes woth my friend but she has developed a respiratory issue and can no longer do so I find it would be amazing to get some energy out with so eager to run and play dogs I monitor a lot of potential puppy problems as I call them after all big dogs share a lot in common with toddlers you have to make sure that they arnt biting scratching chewing or marking any beloved items or areas in the house Getting sufficient exercise helps stimulate the dog's and corner these bad behaviors Plenty of treats and positive reinforcement goes a long way as well

About: Hi! My name is Micayla! I’m 25 years old and just moved to the city of Milwaukee in June. I live in the Yankee Hill area and am an Elementary Ed teacher. This summer I am completing my masters online and take lots of breaks throughout the day to explore the city. I’ve owned dogs my whole life (sadly lost my fur baby back in November) and have plenty of experience pet sitting. I’m looking to start my journey on Rover by combining my two favorite pastimes which are going for walks and petting dogs! My hours during the week are super flexible, as I am only doing online schooling this summer! I am an early riser and am usually up with the sun at 6 and can take breaks whenever. I genuinely just love being around dogs and will protect them like they’re my own. I enjoy walking them on a leash or playing with them at the park (if they are trained off a leash)!

About: I have cared for pets since I was 10 years old, then my family got a dog when I was 15. We now have 2 dogs, both of which I helped train as puppies, including walking, sitting, and a multitude of different tricks. I am currently a full-time student at Marquette University, but I am available before, in between, or after classes every day. My schedule is flexible and I am committed to caring for your pet! About: In 2018 all of my family moved out of the country and I began to suffer from separation anxiety and then covid happened which made it worse. My therapist suggested I become a foster parent at the humane society so I can learn to care for and let go of furry friends, and then I lost my job. Thankfully someone suggested pet sitting apps and I came across Rover. This app has helped put a little money in my pocket while doing what I love, loving and letting go. I am a big introvert so being around animals and near parks and outside by myself or with a furry pal are my favorite thing to do. I am very keen on following instructions. I don’t know if you remember or if you did this in elementary class where you wrote instructions for how to make a PB&J sandwich and some classmates even forgot to write instructions on opening the jar or grabbing a utensil to spread the jam well I was so anal that my teacher even offered me all of the sandwich she made following my instructions because I didn’t miss a beat. I have two medium and large crates handy, room dividers, leashes, food bowls, and more ready to be put to use.
