“Vanessa has been walking my dog regularly for several weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with her help. She’s been very patient and loving with my dog, flexible on the schedule, and provides great walk reports and pictures. Thanks, Vanessa!”

“Leandrea always provides stellar service and communication no matter what she does. We had Leandrea stay in our house and used her walking services. Each time she was awesome in both caring for my scared dog and with communication!”

About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.
About: With a deep-rooted passion for dogs spanning decades, I bring extensive expertise in canine companionship from puppyhood through senior years. My approach is deeply personal and attentive, recognizing that pets are not just animals, but cherished family members. I pride myself on providing individualized care that honors each pet's unique needs and their owner's specific guidelines. My commitment goes beyond routine care—I treat every dog with the same love, respect, and careful attention I would give to my own beloved pets. Whether nurturing an energetic puppy or supporting a senior dog through their golden years, I ensure comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. My years of hands-on experience have taught me to be responsive, intuitive, and deeply compassionate in pet care. Clients can trust that their furry family members will receive nothing less than dedicated, personalized attention, with every detail carefully considered and every need thoughtfully met. I am at home most days and I always keep my availability calendar up to date. I look forward to helping with your pets at any time I am able to. Upon first meeting your pet, I have a detailed list of questions and follow your instructions meticulously. I will provide as many updates and pictures as you like. I understand that leaving your pet with someone can be difficult and for the entire time I am caring for your pet, I want you to know that your pet is happy and is in loving hands. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex. I have a good-size two-bedroom apartment with easy access to take your dog outside whenever needed. The complex has an fully enclosed dog park, several open fields, and walking paths. There is also a doggie bath station available. If invited to your home, I will treat everything with respect. I recognize that it is your home and that your pet is most comfortable in that space. I will do everything to make sure everything is as you left it.

About: While I have Themistocles experience with cats I also have experience with dogs and love taking them for walks and helping them take out their energy. Im currently a student with mostly morning classes but have most weekends and nights free to take care of your fur baby. Especially for overnight care I can be fully present so you don’t have an extra worry Currently I can’t offer any services in my home. But any service that I can do from your home I will complete at the best of my ability
“Lisa is wonderful with our 2 pups. She is great with her communication and has taken exceptional care of them; they look forward to their weekly walk with her!”

About: For 10 years, I have dedicated half my time with dogs and cats. From helping friends and family, I have also been exposed to a variety of breeds and types of care needed. I am currently looking for more work; I already care for my own pets, but this has inspired me to help others in the area. I have a pretty open schedule. When walking my dogs, I make sure to take safe routes with sidewalks. I make sure they are appropriately prepared for any type of weather. My yard does not include a fence, so I make sure my dogs are leashed and walked when they need to go outside for any reason. Safety and overall well-being is very important, and I will make sure that any animal is treated with compassion and care.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I'm comfortable managing multiple dogs at once, maintaining routines, and ensuring each dog feels safe, exercised, and cared for. I prioritize calm, structured walks, positive reinforcement, and clear communication with pet parents. I can take the on potty breaks as often as needed as I work from home. I also have experience with overnight boarding, feeding schedules, leash manners, and providing companionship throughout the day. I have a small friendly dog named Bob who gets along well with other dogs. With owner permission, Bob can join walks to provide socialization and companionship which is especially helpful for dogs with anxiety or who enjoy gentle interaction. Safety, cleanliness, and individualized care are always my top priorities. My daily routine balances client care with my own dog's needs. I schedule every morning, midday, and evening walks, ensuring every dog receives attention, exercise, and socialization while my small, friendly pup joins safely when appropriate. I provide attentive, loving care for pets in my home including feeding, walks, playtime, and safe socialization. My small, friendly dog can join walks for companionship and comfort with owner's permission.
About: I've taken care of a hand full of different types of dogs and cats. I travel often and have become the uncle to multiple friends animals. I've loved doing this as it fits in my schedule. It allows me to get my animal fix and give your animals love and attention while you're gone. I just moved to the Vancouver, WA area looking to make this "home" for awhile. I travel often for work but looking a more consistent. This has allowed me some flexibility and gives me the opportunity to hopefully adore your animals as much as you do! I like to follow your typical routine and make it as comforting that your pets are being cared for and loved! I'm very patient and have fun getting to know all the animals!
“Angela took such good care of our boys! She was on time, a great communicator and sent awesome photos! Would highly recommend her for your pet’s care needs!”

“Laurie was awesome! I went to work knowing my puppy was in good hands. Furthermore, with her extensive history in training dogs I knew she would do nothing but help my puppy become a well mannered adult dog on their walks. Furthermore, she gave me great tips as a first time dog owner. She's flexible and kind and very professional.”

“Steven was fantastic! As a first-time dog owner, I’ve never left my puppy alone or with anyone else until now, so this was a big step for me. I’m so grateful to have found someone I (and Moose!) trust and feel comfortable with. He took great care of Moose, and it definitely showed - Moose is happy and completely worn out after the day. Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and have had the honor of caring for others pets as well! I have cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, and birds! I am currently in school and find myself with a lot of free time! I enjoy going for walks and playing with my cat that lives with me! I live in a gated community with a fenced in dog yard! I know lots of great walking areas to bring your dogs too for a little fun adventure!

About: I have been around animals in my family my whole life and have always enjoyed taking care of them and keeping them entertained. I have been working at Central Bark Doggy Daycare for 5 months and have experience with lots of breeds! I currently am in school and a sport, my availability for pet care on a weekday will have thee windows from (11:48pm-1:05pm), from (2:16pm-3:20pm) and from (5:45pm-11pm) unless I work at my other job in the evening I will only be available for the first window of time. I live with my parents and pets of my own so my house is not available for pet care. But when I am in a clients home I always leave it just as neat as I left it. I would prefer if I knew where all cleaning supplies are in order to clean up any pet messes!
“I felt really comfortable with Erica walking my dog a couple times today while I had a long day at work. She was on time for both walks, and was very mindful of my dog’s needs. She also kept in contact with me all day which helped me relax a little and I felt like my dog was in good hands!”

Silver City dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ivy is absolutely excellent! She came prepared with great questions during our meet-and-greet and our big puppy took to her instantly. She is professional, super positive and incredibly reliable. It’s such a relief to have found a walker we can trust. Highly recommended!

Selena is so amazing! She is super reliable and takes such good care of my puppy. She treats him like her own and he loves her so much. She always send me pictures while they’re out walking and I love to get updates like that. It brings me a lot of peace of mind to know he’s in such good hands when he’s with her.

Leandrea has taken care of our crazy boxers (dropins and walks) several times now and does a great job. She goes above and beyond to make sure they have water and are loved and cared for. She's trustworthy and keeps me updated throughout any dropins with texted messages and photos. I will continue to use her in the future!!
