About: I have experience with puppies as young as 4 months old to 5 years old. I had a very active husky with a sensitive stomach. I trained him for basic commands and accidentally taught him Spanish. I had my fair share of accidents such as my fur baby getting into the chocolate drawer and trying to be friendly with the skunks. Lots of things learned! I currently work part time so I have a good amount of free time after work. I usually work in the mornings (sometimes I also have class). I love playing with dogs and they’re quite the de stressor for me! I am very proactive when it comes to scanning the environment we’re in. At intersections the fur baby is always right next to me and I always have poop bags on me as well as water and treats.

About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm comfortable with dogs from all walks of life. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. Hardwood floors in home. No kids or other pets of my own. I do have houseplants if your dog is sensitive to soils, fungus, or has a history of plant eating. Crating is an option I'm comfortable with if that's what helps your furry friend feel safe, though my ideal set up is to share my whole space and enriching lifestyle with your pup, or to visit them in their home where they're already comfortable. I'm mobile with the Jeep as well, so we don't have to stick to my neighborhood if your dog is reactive and needs some extra space.
“Chelsea was great with my two pups! The snow and ice and the corresponding salt on the sidewalks make things a bit more challenging for my senior dog, who has arthritis and poor vision. But Chelsea made sure they did their business in a caring way...she even carried my older dog for a portion of the way because one of her paws was hurting, likely from the salt/ice-melt. I highly recommend Chelsea!!”
About: I work primarily from home, outside of home for just a few hours a couple days a week. I love, love love dogs! have two fur babies right now, 11 years old and quite friendly. They have a mild temperament and enjoy playing with other dogs although they have slowed down in the past few years. I've had dogs my entire life with my first dog was given to me by my father when I was 3 years old and I can't recall a long span of time where I didn't have a dog. That is except a 4 year period after my fur baby Misha passed away 20 years ago. I play with my girls daily, give them massages, brush them and just make sure they get enough attention throughout the day. We go for short walks also...they are small so they don't make it too far without tiring out. They do enjoy the dog parks occasionally.
About: I trained my own dog growing up and bought a beagle at the age of 22. At 30 I rescued another hound who loves his life. We take two walks daily and spend a few days a week at the dog park. Your dog will receive the same treatment! Morning walk. Lunch date in the yard. Afternoon walk or dog park. Potty breaks every two hours unless it's a Wednesday when I’m in the office. I live in a condo so I can't board right now. I do continue to offer walks, drop ins, and can dog sit at your home!
About: I’ve had a black lab for the last 12 years, and have also pet sat previously! My dog is a “puller” and about 70 pounds, so I have lots of experience with walking dogs who aren’t smooth leash-walkers. I work part-time, so I am available anytime weekends, any morning before 8am, anytime fridays, and evenings monday-thursday after 6:30pm! My schedule also fluctuates a bit. I really like Lea! I had been messaging her on and off for a few months bc before our original meet and greet, my dog got injured so we had to delay starting walks together. She said she would follow up with me, and actually did! I’ve had many experiences here where walkers just ghost me or don’t show up to meet and greets. It was refreshing to connect with someone reliable! Normally my dogs get very anxious and pace and pant when meeting new people- not with Lea. They both laid down right away and weren’t anxious at all. I caught the end of one of their walks and Lea was so responsive to my senior dog who had started to slow down— she immediately adjusted her pace to match my dog. It was a small but important detail. She is consistent, reliable, and trustworthy. You can really tell Lea enjoys what she does. This is the third time we have had Emily come help take care of our dog and I have nothing but great things to share. She is always on time, sends great pictures, but most importantly I know that she is attentive to our dog and her needs. For example, a few weeks ago, Emily watched our dog for a weekend when we were out of town. At that time, I gave instructions to let the dog out in the backyard before going on the first walk of the day because our dog always has a few zoomies first thing in the morning and it will make the walk smoother. When she came to do an AM walk this time, she remembered about the zoomies and let our dog out back for a few minutes before heading out. I hadn’t remembered to remind Emily of that, so it felt great knowing that she took initiative and catered to our dog’s specific habits/needs. Additionally, I had a neighbor share (unprompted) that they noticed how wonderful the interactions were between Emily and our dog. They said that they heard Emily talking to our dog when they were together and really focused on her, not just going through the movements of taking a dog for a walk. I will continue to book Emily and can confidently recommend her.
Steven was fantastic! As a first-time dog owner, I’ve never left my puppy alone or with anyone else until now, so this was a big step for me. I’m so grateful to have found someone I (and Moose!) trust and feel comfortable with. He took great care of Moose, and it definitely showed - Moose is happy and completely worn out after the day.
