About: Hi! I would be an amazing pet sitter because I love animals. Ever since I was little I have had pets whether dogs, cats, ducks or turtles. I am currently in college and away from my dog Nalla so taking care of your pet would honestly be special for me too. One of the main reasons I am on rover is because I love to walk and hike and figured why not add a companion. Hi! I am currently on break from work and school so I can make anything work! I am available everyday of the week at any hours necessary! I sadly cannot have any pets in my home because I live in an apartment but I can take that out for walks in areas near me! I also am used to taking care of a dog when I am home so can do whatever the owner needs!

“I really appreciated Elizabeth's willingness to do a meet and greet before the first walk. She was super patient and understanding with my anxious pup. Would recommend!”

About: I worked at Elmbrook Veterinary Clinic for 2 years (2020-2022) taking care of all boarded dogs including walking, feeding providing medications and charting all relevant info! I am available most mornings and am an early riser! I also have availability during the day on weekdays. I have a very flexible schedule as I am a student at Marquette on summer break right now! About: I provide dependable, attentive care and treat every pet like they are my own. I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets, energetic with playful dogs, and gentle with senior animals who may need extra support and slower-paced care. I’m also very detail-oriented and make sure routines are followed closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I communicate consistently with pet owners through updates and photos so they always know their pet is happy and well cared for. What sets me apart most is the amount of genuine attention and affection I give to each pet. I don’t just “watch” animals — I spend quality time with them to make sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for while you’re away. I'm currently nannying on weekdays from 8:00am - 4:30 pm, so I’m available for morning visits before work, evening walks/check-ins, and overnight care depending on the pet’s needs. I’m especially flexible on weekends and have much more availability for walks, drop-ins, extended stays, and quality playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent, stress-free, and fun. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise, attention, and playtime, and feel comfortable while their owners are away. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I have two large-breed dogs at home, so I’m comfortable handling bigger, high-energy dogs, and I have also frequently dog sat for smaller-breed dogs with different temperaments and care needs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always follow owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care requests.
“Vanessa has been walking my dog regularly for several weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with her help. She’s been very patient and loving with my dog, flexible on the schedule, and provides great walk reports and pictures. Thanks, Vanessa!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy learning the ropes or a sweet senior needing extra support, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners, crate comfort, and potty routines. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs—administering medication, helping with mobility, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Your pet won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new friend who truly cares, communicates well, and treats them like family. As a student with a very flexible school schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet care pretty easily—as long as I have a little notice, I can make it work! I love spending time with animals, whether it's getting outside for a good walk or just hanging out at home. On weekends, you can usually find me curled up with a furry friend or two—it’s honestly my favorite way to relax. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure pets feel secure, loved, and right at home—whether that means sticking to their usual routine, keeping their environment calm, or giving them extra one-on-one attention. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to walk times and any special quirks your pet may have. In my home, I keep things clean, cozy, and pet-friendly, with lots of snuggle spots and safe spaces to relax. Building trust with both pets and their people is important to me, and I always aim to communicate clearly and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you're away.
“Emily was incredibly responsive to messages and was able to come by on short notice to do a meet and greet prior a few scheduled walks we unexpectedly needed later that day. In the pictures, it looked like our dog Ducky had a great time.”

I also work from home on Friday's and can come during the day on those days! I will treat your pet like my own and always do my best! Let me know any special care or peculiarities and I will accommodate!
“Jessica is amazing! Our dog Gabby stayed with her during the day and they got to enjoy nice walks, go to the park and get lots of play time. Jessica kept us updated during the day and sent us lots of cute pictures. Gabby is excited to see her again!”

About: I have experience with both cats and dogs, at every age! I was blessed to live in a home with both! I am fluent in anything pet related :) I am a full time engineering student, but my weekly schedule is very flexible around that, as a lot of my school work is mobile! I am fully available on weekends, and super open and flexible during the weekdays! I can care for big dogs, whether that’s walking or getting them in their crate. I have experience caring for young puppies and kittens too.
“Nothing but great things to say about Jackie! She was able to walk Jenko on a last minute request. Have used her on multiple occasions since. Great communication and follow up. Definitely recommended her for any dog walking needs”

About: I grew up taking care of all sorts of animals from dogs to fish. I believe that animals should be treated like family, think of me as the fun aunt babysitting for your kids Right now in between jobs, I’m just in MKE for a couple months and I take a few bartending shifts here and there at the country club I work. I’m very flexible with my schedule. I treat my dog at home like she’s my child. She loves to go on walks by the park. She very spoiled and has all the toys in the word.
About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was little, with dogs of my own. In high school, I was a "trained puppy socializer," which basically means I got paid to take care of puppies, train and socialize them to new things. Working with puppies for a couple years, I definitely have experience with hyper dogs on walks! As well, I spent some time as a dog-watcher at Tailwaggers, a dog-boarding company. I've also pet sat around the holidays for many years, deciding now I want to year round! I have three dogs back at home, I miss doggies in my life, so I would be super excited to get to hang with yours! I’m a second-year dental student at Marquette University School of Dentistry, and I live literally right across the street from the building—about a 20 second walk door-to-door. Because of that, I’m able to come home frequently throughout the day to check in, take walks, play, and give your dog plenty of attention and care. There’s also a great park nearby that’s perfect for dogs who love to run and get their energy out. I’ve always loved being around dogs—they’ve been a constant source of comfort and joy in my life—and getting back into Rover is honestly just as much about having dogs in my life again as it is about helping others and paying for school. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want to learn more about my experience (or dental care 😜). I’d love to meet you and your dog! I’m also open to a regular commitment as well and am pretty flexible with my fees as I start building my profile back up. I will follow any and all instructions provided for how to care for your dog. I love to play and hang with doggie, but I will respect all rules regarding crating, where to potty, when to play, etc. I have pets in my family home, but none in my apartment where I live currently, so your dog will get all of my attention!
Concordia dog parents share their Rover experiences
This is the third time we have had Emily come help take care of our dog and I have nothing but great things to share. She is always on time, sends great pictures, but most importantly I know that she is attentive to our dog and her needs. For example, a few weeks ago, Emily watched our dog for a weekend when we were out of town. At that time, I gave instructions to let the dog out in the backyard before going on the first walk of the day because our dog always has a few zoomies first thing in the morning and it will make the walk smoother. When she came to do an AM walk this time, she remembered about the zoomies and let our dog out back for a few minutes before heading out. I hadn’t remembered to remind Emily of that, so it felt great knowing that she took initiative and catered to our dog’s specific habits/needs. Additionally, I had a neighbor share (unprompted) that they noticed how wonderful the interactions were between Emily and our dog. They said that they heard Emily talking to our dog when they were together and really focused on her, not just going through the movements of taking a dog for a walk. I will continue to book Emily and can confidently recommend her.

Jessica is amazing! Our dog Gabby stayed with her during the day and they got to enjoy nice walks, go to the park and get lots of play time. Jessica kept us updated during the day and sent us lots of cute pictures. Gabby is excited to see her again!

I have had my sweet little dog for over 15 years. No one has walked her except for family members and the people at doggy daycare. She is also deaf and partially blind. So I was extremely nervous to have somebody else walk her. But this was perfect! Leandrea did a great job with Jolie! She was on time, didn’t mind Jolie dragging her around the condo building several times, and give her kisses. It was wonderful to hear and to see Jolie happy and excited in all the pictures.

Steven was fantastic! As a first-time dog owner, I’ve never left my puppy alone or with anyone else until now, so this was a big step for me. I’m so grateful to have found someone I (and Moose!) trust and feel comfortable with. He took great care of Moose, and it definitely showed - Moose is happy and completely worn out after the day. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

Selena is so amazing! She is super reliable and takes such good care of my puppy. She treats him like her own and he loves her so much. She always send me pictures while they’re out walking and I love to get updates like that. It brings me a lot of peace of mind to know he’s in such good hands when he’s with her.
