She even helped with mail and watering houseplants.â

About: My name is Tishara, and Iâm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have volunteered with multiple humane societies for over a year, where I worked with a wide variety of pets and learned a great deal about animal behavior, care, and compassion. Iâve also had the opportunity to travel abroad for work, and whenever Iâm back home, I truly enjoy working with Rover and reconnecting with pets in my community. While I was away, my dog Teddi who had been by my side for 11 years passed away in October 2025. Losing him was incredibly hard, that was really my babyđĽşbut being part of Rover has brought me comfort by allowing me to continue giving love, care, and attention to other animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with the same patience, respect, and affection I would want for them. I am an animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time building trust with each companion. I look forward to continuing to grow my experience with you while providing dependable, loving care for both companions and their owners. I work a part-time schedule Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which allows me to be flexible and intentional with pet care. On workdays, I build pet care into my mornings and evenings by providing meals, refreshing water, and spending quality time through walks or play before and after work. Once Iâm home, I dedicate time to longer walks or more active engagement to ensure pets receive the exercise and attention they need. On my days off and weekends, I have even more availability for extended care, including longer outings, park visits, grooming, socialization, and vet appointments if needed. I stay consistent with feeding, cleaning, and routine schedules, and I always make sure pets feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for, even during busy weeks. When caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I follow a consistent routine that includes regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and any special care based on the petâs needs, such as medication or grooming. I also make sure the space is secure and enriched with toys, comfort items, and plenty of interaction to keep pets happy and stress-free.

âShe did so good with my evil cat and even brought in a package and put my robot camera back on the charger. We met up before my vacation and did a quick review of what was needed. I felt comfortable knowing she was there for my cat :)â

âErica was very thorough and did a wonderful job taking care of Cooper at lunchtime. You can definitely tell she cares about dogs. We would recommend her and use her again to care for our pup.â

I would accommodate your pups needs and wants during the visit! My job is quite flexible so I am able to drop in or walk your dog during the day! Donât worry Iâll send lots of pics! About: Pet Care Experience Iâve been around animals my entire life, and caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my daily routineânot just a hobby. I grew up in a home with pets, started dog sitting in college simply because I loved it, and have now spent the last six years caring for pets outside of my own family. Iâm comfortable with all ages, from energetic puppies who need structure and routine to seniors who need slower walks, medication reminders, and a little extra patience. What Sets Me Apart I donât approach pet care as a quick drop-in and leave. I pay attention to your petâs personality, their comfort level, and their routine so they feel safe and understood while youâre away. I follow feeding schedules, walk times, training cues, and house rules exactly as you set them. Iâm calm, reliable, communicative, and take pride in providing updates that actually tell you how your pet is doingânot just photos, but eating habits, mood, energy level, bathroom breaks, and anything that may matter to you. Iâm also a full-time law student, which means I take responsibility and organization seriously. My schedule is flexible outside of two classes a day, so I can be consistent with visits, walks, and routine-based care. I understand that pets thrive on predictability, and I work to keep their day feeling as normal as possible while youâre away. Whether your pet wants playful attention, structured exercise, or quiet companionship, I adjust to what makes them feel secure. My goal is for you to trust that theyâre not just being cared forâbut truly cared about. Iâm currently a full-time law student, but my schedule is very flexible. Iâm only on campus for two classes a day, and the rest of my coursework is reading and writing, which I can easily do from home. Because of that, Iâm able to build my study time around pet care rather than trying to squeeze pet care into a packed schedule. Whether Iâm caring for pets in my home or yours, my focus is always the same: a calm, safe, and predictable environment where your pet feels secure. In my home: I maintain a structured, low-stress space with regular feeding times, walks, enrichment, and quiet rest periods. I follow whatever rules you have at home (crate use, furniture preferences, treat limits, etc.) so your petâs routine stays familiar. I supervise closely, keep doors and food items secured, and make sure they always have clean water, a comfortable resting spot, and plenty of attention. In your home: I treat your space with the same respect and care I give my own. I follow your instructions exactlyâfeeding schedule, potty breaks, walk routines, medications, preferred toys, and boundaries. I keep things tidy, safe, and consistent so your pet doesnât feel like everything changed just because youâre away. My goal is to maintain their normal routine and comfort level, not disrupt it. Communication & trust: I provide regular updates with photos and notes on how theyâre eating, bathroom habits, energy level, and overall mood. If I notice anything unusual, I let you know right away. I understand what it means to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I donât take that lightly. Your petâs comfort, routine, and safety come firstâwhether theyâre curling up on my couch or napping in their favorite spot in yours.
About: Both of my parents are veterinarians, so I grew up helping out in their clinic. As a teenager I worked as a kennel staff/vet tech assistant and also grew up raising livestock. I am very comfortable with animals; my parents both work in Little Rock (should anything happen, knock on wood, a good vet is only a phone call away :-). I recently graduated from medical school and am an emergency medicine doctor, but I adore caring for Fido in my spare time. I also have rescue pets so I am familiar with the patience and level of care that our furry friends require on a daily basis. I would love to look after your pets!! I have a cat named Paisley who took some time to adapt after moving here from California. I understand the time commitment and patience needed for pets, especially when they are stressed and subjected to new people and environments. Iâm pretty low key and love to just hang out with your pet at home. If available I will take them to a nearby park or on a long walk, but I primarily want to keep them as low stress as possible while you are away! As someone who used to work in a veterinary office I understand how important it is to develop a good trust level, and will demonstrate patience while getting to know your pal.
âJill was extremely kind and professional. My cat is honestly pretty rude to sitters. Jill was great at noticing her body language, giving my cat her space, and even finding her when she managed to get into an unusual hiding space. She's a great and reliable caregiver for your pets!â

âLilly was so great. She dropped in on my girl twice on a day I had to be in Chicago. Coco was only 4 weeks post-TPLO and needed someone to check on her, chafe her pee pad, checker water, and make sure she spent a few minutes each time doing controlled walking and just generally being with a human. Lilly was prompt and kept me up to date the entire time. I felt like my girl was in the best of hands.â
âHope was so amazing with my kitty! She left very detailed notes, giving me complete peace of mind while I was dealing with a loss in the family. Hope was extremely communicative and responsive which was very helpful. She not only made sure my kittyâs basic needs were met, but went above and beyond to play with her, too. Very grateful for a phenomenal sitter like Hope. đâ

âOur kitty was in great spirits when we returned. It was evident that she had been well taken care of. Jackie was amenable to our requests and provided helpful and frequent updates. Thank you, Jackie!â

Concordia pet parents share their Rover experiences
Vanessa treated our home with respect and took great care of our Boomer. Heâs a puppy so we know he can be a lot to handle. She made sure he had his potty breaks, was played with and most importantly handled our 14 week old with extreme kindness and care. We will for sure be booking with Vanessa again!

Jill was extremely kind and professional. My cat is honestly pretty rude to sitters. Jill was great at noticing her body language, giving my cat her space, and even finding her when she managed to get into an unusual hiding space. She's a great and reliable caregiver for your pets!

Kaitlin was amazing! She took great care of our kitties while we were out of town. Her communication was stellar. She took the initiative to bring in some mail and a package that snuck through before we asked her to. Highly recommended! We would definitely book with Kaitlin again!
First time use of Rover and Valerie for condo visit to feed my cat, His LLordship Llewyn of Wales. Very impressed with Valerie as she showed genuine concern, attention to detail including favorite play toys, accuracy in following instructions, and excellent communication skills including sending multiple pictures. I would highly recommend Valerie for in-home pet visits. Thank you!

Julia was great! She accepted a sitting request from us on short notice which was really appreciated. She came over to meet our Toast so she could meet him and we could see them interact. Toast had a great time when they met and I can tell from the pictures she took during the drop-in that Toast had fun! Weâre so glad Julia took such great care of our boy in the hour she came to watch him! :)

Nicole was excellent! When she came for the meet and greet, she asked excellent questions to really get to know our girls and set expectations. She was calm and let our girls come to her. Then, when she came for the visit, she took excellent care of our kitties and was able to pill our calico successfully! Throughout the whole experience she communicated super well, which is something that we value. We will absolutely recommend and rebook!! Thanks Nicole!
