About: What sets me apart is the level of love, patience, and attention I give to every pet in my care. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy learning the ropes or a sweet senior needing extra support, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners, crate comfort, and potty routines. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs—administering medication, helping with mobility, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Your pet won’t just get a sitter—they’ll get a new friend who truly cares, communicates well, and treats them like family. As a student with a very flexible school schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet care pretty easily—as long as I have a little notice, I can make it work! I love spending time with animals, whether it's getting outside for a good walk or just hanging out at home. On weekends, you can usually find me curled up with a furry friend or two—it’s honestly my favorite way to relax. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure pets feel secure, loved, and right at home—whether that means sticking to their usual routine, keeping their environment calm, or giving them extra one-on-one attention. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to walk times and any special quirks your pet may have. In my home, I keep things clean, cozy, and pet-friendly, with lots of snuggle spots and safe spaces to relax. Building trust with both pets and their people is important to me, and I always aim to communicate clearly and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you're away.

About: PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF YOU HAVE PENDING REQUESTS TO OTHER SITTERS. Please understand that when you send me a request, I have to turn down other potential clients while I wait for you to confirm. Thanks in advance for being a considerate neighbor and human. I had dogs all through childhood and college, and miss having a four-legged friend around! Sadly, my own work travel schedule prevents me from having a doggo of my own right now, so I thought that it would be a good compromise to lend a hand to other frequent flyers who love their pup too much to put them in the kennel. Rest assured that your dog will not get just a 15-minute lap around the block to pee, I'll take him or her to the dog park, on a hike, or if your pup is more low-key, I'll totally snuggle on the couch. My pet ownership experience is mostly with big dogs (sheperds), so that's definitely my soft spot, but I've taken care of all breeds and sizes through volunteering as a foster with a rescue group in my former home of Washington, DC. I have a reliable car, so it's easy for me to get to your place to check in a couple of times a day. I work from home, so I am pretty flexible. I do live with a sassy cat, but we live in a big duplex where pets can be separated if needed. I will strive to stick to your pet's usual routine whether I am sitting at your home or boarding in my own home. They are already missing their humans, and maintaining their routine gives them one less thing to be anxious about.

“Charlotte was awesome. The dogs were a bit over excited at first but she did a great job of calming them down. Would recommend.”

“Vilma came over last minute for a meet and greet to meet my anxious boy. My boy didn’t allow himself to be taken out from the crate and on a walk, but I so appreciate Vilma’s patience with him.”

“Excellent service. Prompt and responsive! 100% recommend for walking!”

About: I have a bulldog, Bruiser that’s 8 years old. My wife and I love him with all our hearts. I love animals so much. I am available most times during the week and some times on the weekend. When looking up “pet’s best friend” there will be a picture of me. Dogs and cats gravitate toward me because I am loving and full of joy. When I walk into a room and there is a dog on one side and a group of people on the other, I b-line it to the dog. I will walk your dog for as long as you’d like and as for cats, I can play with them and never get bored. I’m currently working on my entrepreneurial journey and have tons of free time for meeting new pets! This would be a joy of mine to spend extra time helping others I make sure to play with them in their homes in a way that’s comfortable to them. I get along with all dogs and play with them in a variety of ways.

“Nothing but great things to say about Jackie! She was able to walk Jenko on a last minute request. Have used her on multiple occasions since. Great communication and follow up. Definitely recommended her for any dog walking needs”

About: I have had multiple dogs in my family from the time I was born until now of all different breeds and sizes. I will occasionally foster dogs until they can be adopted, and often babysit for family and friends. At this point in my life I travel too often to own a dog of mine own so this still allows me to have some dogs in my home! I am an extremely responsible, personable, active, and caring dog sitter! I currently work from home 4 days a week which offers me a ton of flexibility as it comes to dog care. I am able to let them out at any time while also offering a morning, midday, and evening walk if necessary. I am not able to provide as involved of care one day a week. I do not currently have a fenced in yard but I am close to plenty of green space and walking paths. I will always take your lead and instruction when it comes to on or off leash care.

About: I specialize in long walks, yet, all walking levels are welcome! Let's get your dogs energy out, or that extra weight dropped! Your dog will just love me :-)! If you found my information in your city, YES, I am available for you. I AM BETWEEN CITIES, but I very well may be available for ya! Reach out to me to book me today! I have a very flexible schedule. I will be very attentive, and will work with you to meet the needs of your animal(s). Book me today! I take very good care of my own animals. My dog enjoys his long walks and the cats love their space to roam around the house.

“Jessica, took great care of our pups during a drop-in dog walking visit. She was prompt with communication before, during, and after the visit. Would recommend her and we will use her again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and I just love them so much! I’ve had experience caring for my parents’ dogs for half the year while they lived out of state (retired). I cared for them until the end of their lives and I have experience with dogs who need medication or other needs. I have experience with training dogs. I love to snuggle and play with them! I am currently not working another job so I have lots of availability to care for pets. I love getting outside so walks and playing fit perfectly in my routine. I’m a very responsible person (I’m a Virgo!) and I love animals. I’ll care for your home and leave it better than I arrived. Unfortunately I can’t have pets stay at my home. You can always trust me with your fur babies!

About: Hi! I'm Nikki, a traveling teacher with a passion for exploring the world and building relationships. I've created my own tutoring business where I offer beginner Spanish lessons for kids and also assist families enrolled in virtual learning. I spend the summer and fall living in Milwaukee, WI close to family and friends, but once Jack Frost starts creeping in I head towards warmer weather. While my nomadic lifestyle does not allow me to have a pet of my own right now, I take great pride in being able to care for the pets of others. Growing up, my days were spent playing with and caring for animals. We had goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, and a wiener dog who I trained to do dog agility. Nowadays, I'm the go to dog and cat sitter for family and friends when they need someone to watch their pets. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens as well as senior pets and feel comfortable administering medications if needed. I'm a teacher who now works remotely now! I have a pretty flexible teaching schedule with many breaks built in throughout the day. Sticking to a routine feeding schedule and letting dogs out to use the bathroom should not be an issue. I find that pets tend to be much more comfortable in their own environment, especially when meeting a new person! I am pretty proud of my ability to quickly build rapport with the pets I am sitting and really do want them to transition easily while you are away. I'm a clean and organized individual so you can rest assured your pets, plants, and overall home will be in good hands while you're away.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. There’s never been a time where I didn’t have either a cat and/or dog where I was one of the primary caretakers. I’ve experience with everything from puppies to elderly dogs and cats of all kinds. I currently have 2 cats and a dog myself! Experience with reactive and/or highly anxious dogs that need particular care. Pets have boundaries and specialized needs just like humans and I aim to learn exactly what each of them need to provide the best care for your furry family! I have a daily flexible working schedule. With a hybrid working schedule there’s really only 2 days a week that I can’t provide day-time care (Tues and Thurs). Otherwise I’m able to step away or take my computer to your pet and work. Weekends are almost always free unless I have them blocked off. I am all about understanding the needs of a pet. All animals have different personalities and needs. If you make me aware of specifics I will do all that I can to meet your pet where they’re at. With the pets I’ve had in my personal life Ive learned to understand and care for cats and dogs with anxiety, elderly pets, reactive dogs, pets with special needs, and animals that are just a little more shy and cautious.

5. Ashley W.
“Ashley is quite the do lover. She no only loves dogs but has tons of energy for those who like to be super active. In the time I have known Ashley she has not only watched dogs I've had and done an excellent job but she is also a former foster with a local dog rescue. When fostering with an off transport rescue you rarely know what to expect and Ashley has shown that she can care for many types of dogs of varying temperaments. The most memorable was very anxious and mouthy beagle who was later put on Prozac to help with her temperament and behavior. Ashley fostered Tallulah until she was adopted to later be returned multiple times because people just couldn't deal with the challenge that Ashley was. If I had a personal dog i would not only trust Ashley with its care but not worry because I know she would do anything she could to assure it's comfort and care.”

15. Nikki G.
“Nikki is my daughter. I have entrusted her with many responsibilities for many years , in the caring for our 3 dogs and turtle . They adore her , and are always very excited to see her ! She had many pet Guinea pigs , and pet bunnies growing up that she was solely in charge of . Not only does Nikki care for our pets indoors, but outdoors as well . She’s diligent about cleaning up after their yard waste . We have a fish pond outside , in which she enjoys watching them during feeding time too . She was raised with the pleasure of watching her goats give birth and caring for them . She also had chickens to feed . Nikki is very loved by her sisters and her roommates cats . She’s always ready to step in and take charge when someone needs her to help out . All of these fur babies, feathered friends and even the turtle , have spent so much time in her arms feeling her warmth and compassion towards them. I need to also mention that she has a green thumb ! Her house plants thrive, and she’s spent a lot of time watering and weeding the garden . If you want an all around trustworthy , warmhearted and attentive person to rely on while you’re away , then Nikki is your gal !”
