About: All my life animals have been a part of my life! I have always had a dog or cat in the home growing up. I just love spending time with my dog, taking him on walks, cuddling with him, and playing fetch with him! Same with my kitten she can be the biggest cuddle bug, or Ms. Independent (I love her either way)! I am currently exploring pet care as a full time job! About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: My name is Tishara, and I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have volunteered with multiple humane societies for over a year, where I worked with a wide variety of pets and learned a great deal about animal behavior, care, and compassion. I’ve also had the opportunity to travel abroad for work, and whenever I’m back home, I truly enjoy working with Rover and reconnecting with pets in my community. While I was away, my dog Teddi who had been by my side for 11 years passed away in October 2025. Losing him was incredibly hard, that was really my baby🥺but being part of Rover has brought me comfort by allowing me to continue giving love, care, and attention to other animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with the same patience, respect, and affection I would want for them. I am an animal lover and genuinely enjoy spending time building trust with each companion. I look forward to continuing to grow my experience with you while providing dependable, loving care for both companions and their owners. I work a part-time schedule Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., which allows me to be flexible and intentional with pet care. On workdays, I build pet care into my mornings and evenings by providing meals, refreshing water, and spending quality time through walks or play before and after work. Once I’m home, I dedicate time to longer walks or more active engagement to ensure pets receive the exercise and attention they need. On my days off and weekends, I have even more availability for extended care, including longer outings, park visits, grooming, socialization, and vet appointments if needed. I stay consistent with feeding, cleaning, and routine schedules, and I always make sure pets feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for, even during busy weeks. When caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I follow a consistent routine that includes regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and any special care based on the pet’s needs, such as medication or grooming. I also make sure the space is secure and enriched with toys, comfort items, and plenty of interaction to keep pets happy and stress-free.

About: I’ve had at least 1 pet my entire life, so I’m no stranger to caring for pets in my home. Beginning in middle school and until now, I’ve been entrusted by family, friends, and coworkers to take care of their pets while they’re away. I have experience with house visits, walking or dog park trips, and overnight care. While I don’t have direct experience with pets who require medical attention, I’d be happy to learn with you. I do have experience with senior pet care. Overall, I guarantee I’ll take care of your pet like my own! I recently graduated from PA school and am job searching currently, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available for daytime care or overnight care daily. When looking after your pet, I will always take care of them like my own. I’m happy to play with them in the yard, take them on walks or to the park, lounge with them on the couch on a rainy day, or crate them if needed.
