“Kathy is great, She has been taking such good care of Sophie and spending so much time with her letting her get adjusted to evening walks, my girl is very shy with strangers and very appreciated!”

“Mika was amazing. They took the time to connect with my boy. My boy is hesitant about letting people getting him out of the crate and Mika was so sweet with Salvador. We will definitely be booking with them again!”

About: I got my first pet-sitting gig when I was 8 years old, feeding my neighbor’s cat. I had multiple farm jobs as a teen and have experience with a variety of species. I have worked for the Wisconsin Humane Society as an animal care technician and as a veterinary assistant at a Spay/Neuter clinic. I have received behavioral training for reactive and nervous dogs, and am willing to work with difficult animals. My schedule is very open and I have a lot of flexibility! I was badly injured last year and have been on extended leave from my career so I have had lots of time to dote on my three dogs and take on new Rover clients! Working with dogs has done so much for my healing process physically and mentally. I have a dream of starting a non-profit dog walking service for struggling teens and young adults one day and try to spread some of that healing around! When I’m building a relationship with a new dog I engage with them on a respectful level- meet them where they’re at and take the time to get to know their personalities, likes and dislikes. Their comfort and safety are paramount. I use positive reinforcement methods only, building trust with animals is more important to me than perfect obedience :)
About: Hi there! My name is Liz! I am a nurse part time and a stay at home mom with my 1 year old son. I am hoping to find a loving family that I can help support with dog walking or animal sitting a few times per week. ☺️ I live on the East Side of MKE and love to walk, run and bike ride. I also love sports so staying active is important to me. I will generally have my son with me for walks and visits so hope there is a family that has kid-friendly pets! He loves animals! I previously had two dogs (a husky named River and a golden retriever named Bailey) with 2 cats (Oreo and Rudy) growing up. I roomed with a black lab for many years named Jackson as well. I have dog sat/walked and cat sat for many friends and family. I love spending time with animals and would love to have some pet/animal energy in my life again 👏 Looking forward to connecting with you! I am free most Thursdays and Fridays as I am home with my son. I can generally make any time work on Thursdays and Fridays. I work during the day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays so my evenings are available these days. My weekends are generally open as well! I am flexible to learn anything an owner or pet needs/wants for their furry family member. I am a mother and know how important it is for your pet to be well cared for!
“Jessica, took great care of our pups during a drop-in dog walking visit. She was prompt with communication before, during, and after the visit. Would recommend her and we will use her again.”
“Genesis is always reliable and takes excellent care of my pup! She truly loves and cares for everyone’s pet that she takes care of. She’s so communicative and kind to both me and my dog Heidi! :)”

“Rover asks me how well Sylvia enjoyed her time with Travis. Though I’ve asked her a couple of times, she just won’t elaborate. What I can tell you is that Travis is a good communicator and is prompt. 🙂”

About: I’ve had at least 1 pet my entire life, so I’m no stranger to caring for pets in my home. Beginning in middle school and until now, I’ve been entrusted by family, friends, and coworkers to take care of their pets while they’re away. I have experience with house visits, walking or dog park trips, and overnight care. While I don’t have direct experience with pets who require medical attention, I’d be happy to learn with you. I do have experience with senior pet care. Overall, I guarantee I’ll take care of your pet like my own! I recently graduated from PA school and am job searching currently, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I’m available for daytime care or overnight care daily. When looking after your pet, I will always take care of them like my own. I’m happy to play with them in the yard, take them on walks or to the park, lounge with them on the couch on a rainy day, or crate them if needed. I can stick to strict meal or medication times and will ensure they have potty breaks with appropriate clean up.
“Nothing but great things to say about Jackie! She was able to walk Jenko on a last minute request. Have used her on multiple occasions since. Great communication and follow up. Definitely recommended her for any dog walking needs”

About: welcome! 🔔 please confirm you have read my profile entirely when sending your booking request 🔔 Dogs have been apart of my life for over 25 years. I learned body language, how to care for them, and how to be patient and communicate with them from my amazing Grandfather. They truly bring me joy! I treat each pup as if they’re my own during our time together. 🐾 I will do everything I can to accommodate your pup’s needs & your desires. Whether it’s walks vs runs in the yard, administering medication, or preparing food, if I’m able to do it consider it done! As a pet parent, I know how stressful it can be to find reliable care. With that in mind, I strive to provide the BEST care for your dog the first time in order to lighten your load; giving you the peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in excellent hands. 🐶 I no longer work remotely, so I’m not available for drop ins, walks, or daycare M - Th prior to 5PM. I am willing to board throughout the week, but please note your pup will be home alone for about 11 hours. Fri-Sun, I am available all hours. 🚨 MEET & GREETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL SERVICES 🚨 Daycare & Boarding: - Please be mindful that I do have a dog of my own. If you know your dog does not do well with other dogs, please do not request a boarding or daycare. I am open to doing daycare in your home for the pups that prefer to be alone. request house sitting & I will adjust the rate! - my home is best suited for the chill guys and gals. lots of soothing music, lounging, & cuddles 💓. Honey Bun is very reserved inside & gets stressed around high energy dogs. To keep all involved happy & safe, please do not book daycare or boarding if your dog is an energizer bunny. I will be glad to drop in, walk, or do daycare in your home though! 😃 - I have a secured, fenced in yard. I am not willing to take any dog to the dog park. Both the front and back doors have additional doors down the stairs, so the chance of an escape is very close to zero! - I crate all dogs when I’m leaving the home, including Honey B even though she typically is not crated. in special situations, I’m okay leaving your dog to roam a designated area, but that is rare and will be discussed prior to the booking. - I do not have any guests while your dog is in my care. Drop Ins/Walks/House Sitting: - I ask that no other humans are in your home when I come over for drop ins, walks, or housesitting unless previously discussed. - Please book a drop in if care outside of walking is needed. - Please assure all animals that need care are listed individually on your profile. I love surprises, but not when it comes to this! - When coming into your home, I will always leave it just as I found it. I will only enter authorized areas as necessary to care for your pet(s). Please assure that all supplies are provided. 🐾 - We will discuss specific schedules for each housit. Some people prefer longer day time care with no overnight, or moderate daytime care + nights. We will workout the perfect schedule for you, your pup, and me 😊. I am NOT available for constant care (24 hours) as I will need to check in with my own dog & maintain my personal life with errands + self care.
About: I've been taking of both dogs and cats since I was 10! I've watched pets of family and friends while they were out of town in addition to my own. Good with animals of all shapes, size, and ages. Will care for your pets like they're my own :) I'm taking a few summer classes over the next 6 weeks, but my schedule is still very flexible! I'm free anytime after 12 on weekdays, and anytime of the day on weekends. Please let me know if there are any other times you need and I be happy to try and accommodate your needs! I am a very safe and responsible pet sitter/dog walker. Dogs will always remain leashed outside and I will be attentive to our surroundings on walks. About: I am a former vet tech and groomer who has post-op care experience, and experience with special needs pets. I have a decade of experience caring for all kinds of pets. Dogs, cats, birds, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, and more. I am the kind of pet parents who leaves two pages of instructions for my sitter, so I love pet parents who tell me exactly what their pets like and don’t like! I ran my own pet care company until my 96 year Grandmother became ill. I moved to her state and have been caring for her since February 2024. It is the most rewarding and truly enjoyable experience that I could hope for, but I miss having lots of animals around to love on! I am an in-home caregiver for my Grandmother and have open availability during the day and evening while she rests. I am available for care in my home or yours. I have a fenced-in yard, pet stairs, enrichment activities, and am home nearly 100% of the time. I do not crate unless I specifically asked to. The majority of my home is not carpeted. There are six stairs at the front entrance and six stairs leading to the back door, however I can lift up to 100 pounds.
About: I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my whole life as my dad hunted and trained them for Field trials. We always had three in our home. Once we even had a litter of puppies and there is nothing better than puppy kisses. I personally have had two Black labs, one that was so happy to lounge and be a couch potatoe and my other one at 8 years old fools everyone into thinking she is 2 or 3 with how active she is and with her I understand the importance of walks and her needing exercise, new sights and smells. I have a flexible work schedule and typically only work 3 days a week so I can be there to ensure your pup gets what they need. Happy to play in the yard or walk as needed to make sure your pup is content. Just let me know what their rules are and I'm happy to follow to ensure they are happy.
About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I have 2+ years in the veterinary field. I have extensive experience administering medication to dogs and cats. As well, as caring for senior pets. If you have a pet with special needs, I am your gal. I, myself, have a senior cat and know how important it is to have a petsitter you can rely on and trust. Additionally, I have over four years experience petsitting for private clients. I have routinely petsat for over a week while my clients were on vacation. One of my clients had four dogs and up to eight cats while I was there. I love a challenge so please message me and we can arrange a time to chat about your pet needs! I am attending graduate school in the fall and would like this to be my side hustle. I am available every morning and early afternoon. Additionally, I can work on the weekends. Safety is extremely important to me. Before I walk your dog or petsit overnight we will have a discussion about your pets needs and what you are most worried about. Like I mentioned, I have extensive experience walking and watching dogs but every dog is different and I am committed to getting to know them.
About: I've been taking care of my friends, family and neighbors dogs for as long as I can remember. Anything from daily to week long periods I have fed, walked, and cared for those animals, as well as overnight stays at either my home or theirs. Pet care fits extremely well into my routine, I am an online college student with a majority of free time and flexibility. I am typically up early and readily available most of the time. I remain especially cleanly in my own home and clients, making sure to clean/ tidy up after the pet as well as stay attentive to their needs. Another way I care for pets is by enjoying their company, talking, playing and interacting with them on walks and at home to make sure they are safe, happy and attended to.
About: Although I’m more experienced with my own two cats, I adore dogs! I go on walks frequently around my neighborhood so I would love a pal to tag along with me! I’m a recent college graduate and am currently working a part-time remote job so I have plenty of free time to take care of your lovely pet! I believe every pet equally deserves love and attention! They’re also more than just a pet… they’re family. If trusted with your pet, I will make sure to make them feel comfortable and loved!
Metcalfe Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Erica is great! We did a meet & greet and walked around the neighborhood. She was punctual and showed me what the app looks like on her end and explained how everything works. She's willing to handle my big boy (great pyrenees) and he was very excited to meet her, which is not always the case - he's unsure of most new people. She was great with him and I'm happy to have someone reliable to help out with my pup!

Genevieve was absolutely amazing with my dog (Malibu)! Malibu was shaking & scared from a stranger, but by the second visit Genevieve gained her trust and was able to take her outside. Genevieve was so sweet and patient with Malibu. She also communicated her progress each day with us to let us know how it went.

Bella did great with my high energy dog! She was careful to learn my dog's routine and special instructions, and gave me detailed updates after every walk. It's clear that Bella adores dogs and is very experienced, which helped to ease my dog parent anxiety. I'll gladly book with Bella again.
