Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”

About: Hi! I would be an amazing pet sitter because I love animals. Ever since I was little I have had pets whether dogs, cats, ducks or turtles. I am currently in college and away from my dog Nalla so taking care of your pet would honestly be special for me too. One of the main reasons I am on rover is because I love to walk and hike and figured why not add a companion. Hi! I am currently on break from work and school so I can make anything work! About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

My own pup is a bit of an escape artist, so I am extra careful with doors, gates, and secure leashing practices. I am also aware of how curious dogs can be, so in my home you can be sure of a safe environment where there are no dangers within a dog's reach (or jump). Not only do I treat your pets with love and respect, but I treat your home with the same care. “I have a special-needs dog that is blind, and due to loss of sight struggles with other dogs only because he can’t see them coming. Tracy watch Dover Rocky and make sure he was OK with all the other dogs and then sent me some of the cutest pictures of him just relaxing little notes telling me he was getting along with a dog that barked at him earlier. I’m never left Rocky with any other person other than family. Tracy is not part of that family.”

“Zachary was great with my petsitting needs - especially given that I reached out for the first time within a week of needing the help. He fit me into his schedule for a meet n greet (which went really well), I really liked that he had a fenced in backyard. The stay was arranged for 5 days (I ended up coming back a day early and was able to pick him up early). Zachary provided updates early in the stay to let me know how my dog was settling in. Zachary was very responsive to my messages and was quick to reply. If you have a dog with separation anxiety (like mine), it was great that he lives in a house, so there were no wall neighbors (such as apartments) to worry about with any barking. If I find myself traveling for a few days again, I will definitely reach out to see if Zachary is available to watch my dog!”
“Our 2 dogs stayed with Mary for almost 2 weeks and I feel fortunate to have found her! She was great with our dogs and Ollie really enjoyed having Mateo as a playmate. I'm sure our dogs loved the huge fenced backyard. Mary was great with sending pics and video too. Thanks again Mary!”

“Sarah and her family provided constant updates of my dog throughout the week. Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. I never worried once while away.”

“My pup developed diarrhea and a bloody stool the day I would be traveling. Her vet was able to diagnose that it was just stomach irritation and nothing contagious. She was still prescribed several things. Despite the last minute inconvenience Michelle was very communicative and accommodating. Throughout my dog’s stay Michelle kept me up to date about how my dog was doing and let me know that she was feeling better! In my time of using rover Michelle has been Lola’s favorite boarder and daycare host yet!”
