About: For starters who doesn’t love snuggling dogs all day. I’ve grown up with different animals my whole life and I love all kinds. My future career is being a vet so working with animals is a passion of mine. My family has 2 Great Danes so walking, bathing, playing etc would be no issue at all for me. We also go on various of walks so it really depends what the dog is up for we can do long or short. My schedule is flexible so we can always make it happen. You won’t have to worry when your dog is with me and you’ll receive a bunch of pictures during throughout. It’s guaranteed your pet will have the best time and be spoiled with the best treatment.
About: They say grief is love with no place to go, so since my senior Belgian Malinois passed away, I've been fostering dogs and would like to get into dog walking. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.
About: Dogs are my passion. I've always had dogs in my house growing up. From taking care of neighbors, to past teachers, friends and widespread family, people know they can trust me with their furry friends. In 2019 I started professionally walking dogs, and explored pet sitting. I worked with a variety of different animals, from day to day, and over night! I have experience feeding (Free and timed), giving oral/topical medication, bathing/brushing, walking, and lastly giving LOTS of love and affection to your perfect pup! Dogs always come first in my line of work! I'm currently not able to work, so I'll have plenty of time all days of the week to play with your pup! I am available Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm (daycare), and 9am to whatever time specified for boarding every day of the week! I have a large fenced in backyard where your pup can enjoy playtime and fresh air. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own that are amazing at helping with socialization, engaging playtime, and just over all being great a friends! If you prefer crate time while your pup is with me, I am able to crate them if their crate is left with me at the time of being boarded. Your pup will always be allowed on my furniture, and on my bed, as mine are allowed too. If your pup isn't accustom to being on furniture, I have plenty of dog beds all around my house for them the lay comfortably on. I am always willing to follow the most specific of instructions to take care of your pet to my fullest extent! I will keep daily logs while your pet is with me, detailing how the day went, what went on, when your pet was fed, and walked, and other details describing the stay.

About: I have experience in both senior dog/cat care, aswell as raising and training puppies ! I have had 4 dogs throughout my life. My dog Marty, who passed recently, was 18 years old. I was able to care, watch, and love him throughout his senior years , which built strength within helping care for senior dogs. Also, every one of my dogs was adopted as a puppy, which helped me gain experience in training, and taking care of puppies, as well as dogs of any age! I have pet sat for neighbors and family members countless of times, including cats, dogs, bunnies, and even lizards! With my schedule, I am available anytime after 11 am for drop ins and walks! I absolutely love working and caring for any type of animal and would love to help care for yours :) I work at a school so for right now I have tons of free time because of the summer months ! I’m free any time or day :) I do not accept dogs at my house just yet, but will be soon ! As for now, with pet care at a clients house, if allowing, I am more than willing to help clean any messes from the animals, and casual cleaning around the areas of the house I am in during my stay/visit! All I ask is for a set of guidelines on your dogs routine and assure that your pet and environment will be well cared for :)
“I am a first-time customer with Rover.com. I submitted a request for a petsitter to watch my cats while I was out of state. For six days (including Labor Day weekend), Sarah M. took excellent care of my “Little Ones”. During all ten visits, she went the extra mile and cleaned up the occasional fur balls (yuck🤢) and small-scale disasters my cats made. My cats took a liking to her and that doesn’t usually happen. That means there’s something special about Sarah M. She is thorough, meticulous, kind, considerate, and professional. I’ll gladly ask her to watch my pets again! Thank you, Sarah! You’re a godsend!!😊💯👍🏾”

“Lauren was available to come and let Ruby out on short notice. She had to wear a cone and I was stressed leaving her alone. Lauren sent me a picture and eased my stress. She’s great.”

“This was my first time since moving and having my cat alone so I was nervous to hire someone to check in on her. Tai was communicative, caring, friendly and sweet! She closely followed the instructions I left. I am so grateful for the last minute drop-in visit. I will definitely reach out again and would recommend her for anyone’s pet!”

About: I was raised as a child with pets - fish, cats and of course dogs. Rowing up we had 2 Irish Setters a Chihuahua and multiple cats. As an adult I started off with just having multiple cats and then began to have dogs enter my life again. I had a very loving Pit Bull for a short period of time and a few years later I adopted a Boston Terrier who is now 13 years old. In addition to my senior dog, I now also have a 1 ½ year old Boston and 1 senior cat. I never had children so these are my kids and my extended family. I do everything I can to ensure they have a loving home and are well cared for and I will do the same for your four-legged kids :) With a lot of patience I have been able to do a few simple commands with my dogs. I have experience with potty training a puppy and also have extensive experience with senior dogs as my senior is currently half blind, has incontinence issues (at times) and has trouble walking. I work M-F, 900am-600pm. Im typically home in the evenings and on weekends. When I know im pet sitting i stay home so my focus is on your pet. I spend a lot of time playing, walking and giving love to my pets. I will do the same for yours. I have a large unfenced yard but also have a dog park nearby that i utilize. My pets are on a regualr feeding schedule and I will adhere to any directions or special needs you may have,
About: Since I was a kid, I've always had cats and dogs. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, and barn cats in exchange for horseback lessons. Currently, I have a cat and a senior dog whom I love with all my heart. I promise to treat your animals with the same diligence, attentiveness, and care. I am extremely reliable and follow directions thoroughly. I am physically fit and able to walk dogs for long distances with ease. I can also jog with dogs or play fetch with them if you'd like more exercise for your pet. Balance is important in life -- I am happy to help you out! I look forward to giving your pets the best care imaginable. I have nearly full availability for pet sitting for the next few months. I am available weekdays and most weekends, with some exceptions. I can take on long-term house sitting if needed, up to 1 week. I am able-bodied and able to walk or sometimes jog with dogs. If your dog prefers catch or tug-of-war, I am happy to play with them. Exercise is important for cats, too. My own cat is silly and only likes to play in very specific ways, but still, I try my best to play with him and provide the enrichment he deserves. I will try my best to get to know your animal and learn how they like to play. I am also willing to brush animals, crate them, and provide medicine. I am very respectful upon entering homes -- I always take off my shoes to ensure cleanliness. If I am staying overnight, I promise to treat your home with respect and boundaries.

Murray was wonderful! They were reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of everyone. We received updates and photos, which helped us relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our pets were safe and happy. It was clear they genuinely cared about the animals and paid attention to their individual needs. We came home to happy, healthy pets and everything was just as we left it. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gaby was absolutely amazing with our dogs, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. I had to book with her very last minute because of my work schedule, and she didn’t hesitate to help. She was incredibly accommodating and made the entire process completely stress-free. From the moment we met her, she was kind, professional, and clearly cared deeply about animals. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Gaby went above and beyond to make sure they stayed on their normal routine and received plenty of attention, love, and care. It was obvious that she treated them like they were her own. Another huge plus is that her prices are very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional level of care she provides. Finding someone who is affordable, reliable, and truly loves animals is rare, and Gaby exceeded every expectation we had. We will absolutely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and amazing dog sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
