About: I've been a pet owner all my life, from birds, to hamsters, to dogs, I have experience with them all. I love animals and always have. Dogs have always been my favorite but I've also helped with livestock, birds, and a variety of rodents. I have two cockapoos one with special needs because of a spinal injury so I no longer watch dogs that aren't smaller then 20 lbs due to caution with playing. My husband and I have almost an acre of land for active dogs to run on as well as a a nice neighborhood path and Lake Redman close by. We have an electric dog fence for the whole property for owners who would like to use it. I'm a photographer by trade so you'll get daily photo updates of your puppers if you'd like. I obviously deal with dogs with special needs due to ours needing special care, as well as pets with food allergies, and lots of energy. I spend a lot of time traveling for work and know how important it is to have someone you trust to take care of your pets, leaving you worry free on your vacation. ***Please note: I do require meet and greets for new clients and won't accept day of bookings unless I've been introduced to your pet beforehand for the dog and my safety. This ensures they're comfortable with me in your house, they aren't aggressive, and they can get to know me first. I'd love to welcome your dog into my pet caretaking family while you're away!**** I'm currently also accepting long term dog walking clients! Do note: I can't house sit overnight at homes with lots of cats as I'm allergic so before you book an overnight please note that restriction. I look forward to working with you and taking care of your pets! I am a photographer full time but my schedule is very flexible unless it's a wedding. Walking dogs or taking care of them is a great break throughout my day from editing in front of a computer screen. Our yard has an electric fence that clients are welcome to use. Otherwise, dogs stay leashed outside at all times to avoid any running away or escaping. In homes I'm careful to make sure doors stay closed as well. Typically clients discuss any dos and don't with their pets before they leave and I follow them to a tee.

“Brooke has watched my dog MANY of times, either coming over to walk him while we’re at work or staying over a few nights while we’re away on vacation. 16. Anna F.
About: I have cared for dogs of every kind (including my own) since I was 13 years old by helping my grandmother who raised and trained dogs to become seeing eye dogs, service dogs, and therpary dogs. I've also worked as a part-time dog sitter for approximately 1.5 years. I am currently a full-time college student, so I would be available based on my current semester's schedule, which is most evenings and weekends at the moment. Over the summer, I expect to have more availability. I would not be able to care for pets in my home. Before taking a dog sitting job, I would do a meet and greet with the family and the pet(s) to make sure it is a good fit. During the meet and greet, I would get the details about how the pet(s) like to be cared for, their specific schedules and any other needs they might have.
