About: There's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a pet - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc. I've helped take care of friend's and neighbors pets while on vacation since I was a teenager. We recently had to say bye to our dog, Bateman, of 13 years and as much as I'd love to welcome another pet into our lives, we're just not ready yet, but we'd love to show some love to your fur babies! We have a big, fenced in backyard and we are attached to a park that's great for walks, so I'd love to see Bateman's space put to good use. My husband and I both work from home and I don't have a set schedule so I can be flexible and available throughout the day. I also take daily walks at the park attached to our neighborhood, so I'd love to have friend to take along with me for some exercise. We have a 7-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter who both love animals and will be more than happy to love on your fur babies. I used to have my own little escape artist at home, so I'm very cautious when opening doors to ensure no one gets out unless there's a fence or they're on a leash.
About: They say grief is love with no place to go, so since my senior Belgian Malinois passed away, I've been fostering dogs and would like to get into dog walking. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I have pet-sat for family and friends as well. I currently have a very flexible schedule. I am generally available during daylight hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 5 PM or later Tuesday and Thursday. Before or at the start of our first walk, I'd like to get to know your dog's preferences, triggers, and typical walking habits and routes. I suggest treats for positive reinforcement if working on socialization and a slip lead to reduce pulling. A safe, enjoyable outing is my priority for your dog.

In fact, our shih-poos are two that don’t warm up to people immediately, but it was literally no time at all before Murray was treated like he was one of the family. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. Gaby went above and beyond to make sure they stayed on their normal routine and received plenty of attention, love, and care. It was obvious that she treated them like they were her own. Another huge plus is that her prices are very reasonable, especially considering the exceptional level of care she provides. Finding someone who is affordable, reliable, and truly loves animals is rare, and Gaby exceeded every expectation we had.
